72 /100 301 WALNUT ST Located in an old Firehouse and had the whole Firehouse vibe to it. Stopped by on a Thursday when they opened, so not crowed but some locals filtered in. Decent enough if not averaged beer and I enjoyed the hamburger and fries that had a spicy bite to it. |
56 /100 Park Towne Beverage (Beer Store) 310 N LEWIS RD Not the best place but they have some solid crafts including 12 ounce Double Jack. The prices are pretty competitive and the people are nice. |
54 /100 Park Towne Beverage (Beer Store) 310 N LEWIS RD Next to Lucky Lab, the beer selection here is mediocre at best, the service is OK but no help on the floor, and the checkout people often seem to be pissed off. The prices aren’t anything to write home about either, so I seldom come here unless I need pretzels. |
70 /100 Park Towne Beverage (Beer Store) 310 N LEWIS RD Another warehouse-style distributor in PA. They have all the usual suspects, quite a bit of local micros. Sly Fox, Stoudt’s, Victory, Yards, Philly Brewing, Spring House and a lot of other PA-brewed beers are available. The rest of the country’s craft industry is pretty well-represented, too, with Sierra Nevada, Firestone Walker, Lagunitas, Ballast Point, Stone, Dogfish Head and Southern Tier. The import selection is lacking, but the prices, location and service are all good. |
