“It is always a treat to discover a brewpub which is new to me. While the beer brewed at the Vine Inn is incredibly traditional, it is decent overall. As is the pub itself, complete with real fire, no music and well-kept cask. Of the cask beers, three are from the brewery (the other is Bass). Keg is macro but you can also find their beer in bottles to drink in or take away. I meant to rate a few places in Rugeley but I was comfortable and having a lovely time so I stayed. Brewpub beers are, at the time of writing, £3 for a pint or a 500ml bottle. One to try out.“

“Visited 25th March 2018. Slightly out the way localish pub that now brews it's own beer. The pub is split with a bar on the right as you enter. Felt a bit local but friendly enough. 4 sticks but only 2 on, one was their own IPA the other Bass. The brewery is visible from outside and looks bigger than you'd think. Beer was decent.“
