“Wow, located little bit outside of Sandefjord Sentrum, but wort the trip. I came there on a friday and according to RB they should be open, they where not, but I managed to get in touch with one of the owners that had home office that day. She was kind enough to open when she heard I was comming from far. By the time I visited they unfortunall only had 4 Cider in the selection of the shop, I bought all 4, and by time I get to write this I had the pleasure of tastin their Ice Cider that was nice. On top of Cider they also sold juice and small snack. The service was what I will call beyond ecelent, I got realy first class service and would definitel love to go back next time I am in Sandefjord. Visite 24.05.2024.“

“Popped in here during a two day visit to the lovely town of Sandefjord. Ok selection of beers at eye watering prices (bloody hell, Norway is such an expensive country), the wine selection looked impressive though if that's your thing. Service quite decent, but I much preferred the Swedish equivalent Systembolaget, and my wallet did too!“

“A fairly good, but nothing out of the ordinary regarding the selection. Fairly good selection of local brews from the county, including the before mentioned "Færder Hvalfangerbyen". Really no need to go here from the city center (whery you have Gulating and Vinmonopolet in the same building - that should cover most peoples needs in Sandefjord). But if one are in the area or passes by it's worth dropping by.“

“Fairly good location near the harbour. Slightly minimalistic Scandinavian interiour, simple, but fairly nice with natural wood and some viking themed paintings on the walls. Decent selection both on tap and bottles - nothing too impressive, but quite okay. Rather empty on a Thursday evening even when they showed football on the big screen. Fairly new place that might become great, but so far I do prefer Sandar when going for a beer in Sandefjord.“

“Update: selection has improved slightly, even one fairly local beer from Færder. Two from Lagunitas and two from Austman was the others worth mentioning. Old: Limited opening hours and limited selection of beer. No local stuff, just the a small selection of the standard Ringnes/Brooklyn, but as it is the closest place to a pub at the airport you don't have much choice. Not always open, often it's only Upper Crust that is open and they have an even more limited selection of beers. Best thing to do is wait until you have arrived at the destination, at least that's what I usually do...“

“Well if you really want a beer while you are waiting for your flight. This is the only place to get a decent beer. It is not that hopless selection either. You will probebly find something you like. Apart from that just as any other O’Learys restaurants“

“A standard Meny grocery store with good selection of Norwegian craft beers. I like that they have their own beer, "Færder Hvalfangerbyen" This single bottle is the reason why you should visit if you are in Sandefjord. (Visited October 12th 2016) “

“5 min walk from the harbor and about 10 min walk from the train station. A better selection than many other vinmonopol due to their status as a special vinmonopol. Well wort a vist. You wil probably find many interesting bottles“

“Ok, so it’s rather expensive, but not more than the other Vinmonopolet stores. The selection is much broader though, with lovely beers from Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, USA and other places. As well as a nice array of Norwegian micros of course. Didn’t see many Norwegian beer’s I hadn’t had, three or four only, but I guess the average customer will have plenty to choose from. Not sure how much the staff knows about the beers, but at least they were friendly those who approached us. Not that I needed any advise... Will definitely come back“

“A good selection of beer, some not available in other than the "special" Vinmonopolet stores (and not listed online). Certainly a decent selection, but not too impressive and it seemed quite random to be honest. Anyway certainly worth dropping by to have a look if one happens to be in the neighbourhood.“

“I dropped in on my way to Sweden. Why vistit an rather expensive Norwegian beer store when prices are about 50% off in Sweden? Well, Vinmonopolet in Norway no have a better selection, especially imperial stout, porter, IPA and barley wine. This store in Sandefjord offers a special selection as a ugraded state monopoly store. “Very professional wine monopoly store, won internal contest as store of the year 3 times ( out of 10?)- only one with more then one victory. Got upgraded to special selection like Vika and others recently. In Sandefjord and surrounding towns, the lack of bottle shops is profound- and this place should be visited if you are nearby. ( however, on selection alone Vika is better). Professional staff & helpful. Nice selection July 2013, will be added to place along with consumption.“

“A small café and bar in Sandefjord with focus on coffee, whisky and cognac, but with a healthy selection of good beer as well. Haandbryggeriet on tap, and around 20-25 bottles from different microbreweries. The bartender said they usually kept more. Not the coziest of bars, but good enough. Live jazz music on saturdays.“
