In Bocca Al Luppolo (Beer Store)
VIA CORRADI 56
“This is a small bottle shop, with a few beers on tap. You can either take bottles to go, or sit down for a beer or two. Nice selection of Italian microbrews (which are excellent!) as well as Belgian, German, American, etc. When we went the other evening for a pint, snacks (meat/bread/etc/pizza) were offered, which hit the spot. Owner is very friendly. A great find!“

“On the south side of the Cathedral in one of the main narrow pedestrian streets emanating away from it, this is mainly a wine shop and an impressive one as well. There’s several rooms with very interesting ways to display a huge array of wines from Liguria, Italy and around the world including bottles in the crypt below the glass windows you walk over on the ground level. In terms of beers the selection is very limited and not great with a few in one corner of the first room you enter, but for a visitor like myself who has not experienced too many Italian beers before I found something new here. Very pleasant and helpful staff.“

“As Sanremo didn’t have any places in RB I wanted to add one. This is actually not a beer shop but shop for wine and other drinks. They claim to have eg. 2400 wines and 200 grappas available. Beer is less present, but when I visited they had a full range of almost local El Issor beers (7 of them) and nice line up of Balladin beers. Service was friendly and supply of other alcohols seemed to be very good. Otherwise in Sanremo, head to COOP which may have few ticks for you (Menabrea, Mastri Birrai...)“
