“We couldn’t believe our luck to find this microbrewery open at 10.30 on a Thursday morning. We were given a quick tour of the brewhouse by Sergio the brewer and then we sat with him in the little beer garden while we tried his Weizen (which had been bottled in front of our eyes 2 minutes earlier) and then his pilsner. He was super interesting and passionate about his craft, his town and his island. Between his pretty strong English and our fledgling Italian we made ourselves understood. We would have loved to stay all day, to have tried his other two beers and eaten his snacks. If only we’d known he also ran a B&B we would have stayed for days!!“
