52 /100 Giant Eagle - Seven Fields (Grocery Store) 206 SEVEN FIELDS BLVD Well being that its 2013 and beer in PA grocery stores has been a thing for a few years now, merely having a Whole Foods lite selection and nor pick six section just doesn’t cut it. Or I could write Meh! 50 times and achieve the same effect. |
52 /100 Giant Eagle - Seven Fields (Grocery Store) 206 SEVEN FIELDS BLVD As others have noted, the point is you can buy beer in a grocery store in PA. The selection isn’t bad - some nice bombers and Belgians to select from. And, the prices are highly competitive. |
36 /100 Giant Eagle - Seven Fields (Grocery Store) 206 SEVEN FIELDS BLVD It seems everybody who wants to make a buck is now onto craft and imported beers. Typical grocery store that has a decent selection of brews. Most only available in six packs. If you want to pick & mix your own six pack selection, better be bombers because there are no 12 or 16 oz singles here. The 22 oz bombers are no less than $9 each. |
82 /100 Giant Eagle - Seven Fields (Grocery Store) 206 SEVEN FIELDS BLVD The rating is a little unbalanced, but the main thing is that I can now get beer in a grocery store in PA, hence the overall high rating! The selection’s actually not bad, with a decent representation of West Coast, East Coast, midwest, and local beers (although local’s not much to speak of), as well as larger format bottles of some Belgians (more well-known, e.g. Chimay, Orval, etc.) and domestics (Ommegang, Rogue, etc.). Six pack prices aren’t too bad, in general better than what you’d get at 3 Sons, which is down the road a little bit, but the selection is smaller and less diverse. Convenience factor is huge. |
