68 /100 601 N MAIN ST, STE A Designated parking lot that is on a hill. Has WiFi but I couldn't connect though my BIL did. 20 taps, 3 were house brews, rest was mostly craft beer. View of the brewing area is through a small window. Showed up as they opened during a city-wide festival and so this place was empty. After talking to a few patrons, sounds like the place is hopping late at night. Decent beers - liked the hazy Brown ipa enough to bring back a growler. Back patio overlooks someone's backyard. Interesting place. More of a bar than a craft brewery. |
76 /100 103 W MOUNT VERNON STREET Street parking. No wifi. 10 taps (6 house brews including a soda). Ashley was nice and very helpful. Guest taps were filled with other KY brews. Does crowlers. Incredibly affordable. Atmosphere was dominated by the citywide carshow. Will visit again next year when I go camping nearby! |
80 /100 103 W MOUNT VERNON STREET A nice combo between this and a bar around the corner, taking over half a main square city block. Used to be a furniture store, with hardwood floors and pressed tin ceilings. The character remains, but the brewery is quite at home. 4 Jarfly beers on tap, 6 guest taps. Flights available at around 1.50 each sample. I was looked after by Del and Ashley, both very outgoing and friendly. Nice place. I’ll look forward to returning. |
60 /100 601 N MAIN ST, STE A Shares a building with a gas station/convenient store. Painted cinder block walls. A few tvs. A semi-circle bar situated in the middle of what is a long narrow room. In addition to the bar, some tables are available for sitting and enjoying a beer. There’s some patio seating out the back door. A pretty good list of rotating taps. Wine is available too, but it’s overpriced. Cigars are available too. No food, but you’re allowed to bring food in. |
