“Inn situated near the parking areas at the top of Staithes before the steep incline to the town, prominent building with multiple rooms - pool table room, dining room and main room where musicians setup and central bar area with some real ale handpulls which gets abit cramped trying to get served. Beer garden at the side and front area with picnic tables has views over fields to a large potash plant in the distance. OK for a drink before or after the walk into Staithes.“

“Traditional pub on the harbour front in Staithes, North Yorkshire. Cosy inside with lots of pictures of the area on the walls, main bar serving some real ales on handpull (including Old Jacks Tipple available here) and good pub type food. Dining tables & chairs inside, also picnic tables outside with great views. Reasonably busy on a sunny summers day. Enjoyed the visit.“
