“They do have a nice selection, for the most part refrigerated. I expected to find more Nevada beers available as singles. I ended up with 11 that I had not had. I tracked someone down who pointed out singles from a new Nevada brewery for me, but overall service was meh.“

“So this is right over the border past Harrah's after reading SlowRunners review of the other location, I was quite happy, but this, unfortunately, is not that. From the moment you approach you are blasted with club music. There is a bit of outdoor seating, but mostly a dingy front room and a better lit back room / dining room. Front room has a bar with 5 beers on tap, all normal stuff. The one Lake Tahoe AleWorX beer on the menu was not on. There is also a pour your own setup, but it has just 16 taps and all of them are common stuff you can get anywhere. Slow service, despite being almost empty. Underwhelming.“

“Great selection of beers. I made a great pic 6 and a few bombers. No discount was given. I noticed they had the poster of ’The Kramer’ on the wall. The lady said she met him back in her flight attendent days. He was nice to her. Great place.“

“There are places with better everything than this place. Sure there are. Picked up 9 new to me beers. That’s amazing. AND AT CHECKOUT I GOT A 20% DISCOUNT!!! Don’t understand why, but the folks were definitely friendly. Neat growler bar. Over 10 taps. Bottles might be 400+. Just amazing.“

“This place has more beer selection than anything in a 100 mile radius. There are about 300 different beers to choose from and the keg and liquor selection is really good.“

“Part of a chain of businesses that includes King’s and Roadrunner, the old Dart Discount Liquor went out of business, and re-opened as the Dart Beverage Center, much improved. Like any of the stores in the Blue Star chain, the bottle selection is fantastic, with absolutely everything being available as singles. This is the only Blue Star store on the Nevada side of the border, as the other two are in California, so the selection is quite different. Dart has Upright, Stillwater, and some others that you won’t find at the others. On the other hand, they also don’t have any Alesmith or Russian River at this location either. Big store, well-lit, great selection, service was friendly, prices are reasonable for Tahoe. Definitely worth a look.“
