76 /100 1169 SHOPPING CENTER ROAD I've stopped in Cult Classic a few times, once while staying on Kent Island, and another time as a place to stop by on our way to the Beach from DC.
Second time there, there was a concert in a totally different part of the brewery that I didn't even see the first time I was there.
Ate lunch both times. Good food, even for the little guy, and a good variety of beer. Nothing mind-blowing being brewed here, but I love the Cult movie theme. Lots of variety. Place is huge - it's in an old school grocery store. Huge bar, lots of room. |
88 /100 5781 SAINT JOSEPH AVE Diving theme. Not the 10 meter reverse somersault kind, and not even the scuba kind. It's the surface supplied kind that requires a helmet. Anyway, this is a big place, long bar, lots of restaurant tables, plus a front porch sort of thing with a tent, plus a nice beer garden on two sides with plenty of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. A bit of shade but not much. Brewery visible through a door off to one side.
No flights, it's 8 or 16 ounce pours in sexy glassware, but the barman was very generous with samples. Nice variety of styles, but the big surprise was the very tasty foeder aged sours and saisons, both on tap and in bottles. Food truck. Street parking was easy. Kids and dogs abundant. Great stop. |
76 /100 114 MAIN STREET A real good location on Main Street in a beautiful area, near a National Wild Life Refuge, in a small town with some nice antique shops.
Wonderfully decorated, with a nice vibe going on inside, friendly staff and evidently a town meeting place. A nice bar set up, and they have their own canning machine so that they can can any beer on tap as a take out "growler" for you. Cody was our bartender. |
68 /100 5781 SAINT JOSEPH AVE Nice beer garden, Modern industrial meets kinda fishing shack look. Some beer signs, older crowd, staff of all ages, customers were retired hipsters. The beer was decent, also they had beers to go. |
84 /100 114 MAIN STREET Bryggeribar med trevligt bemötande. Ett måste vid ett besök i Stevensville! |

66 /100 4018 US HIGHWAY 93 N Big old barn with a nice old school brewing setup inside. Small tasting area in one corner of the brewery. Only 3 taps. Friendly service. |
80 /100 114 MAIN STREET Lots of exposed brick and wood. Old bar feel with lots of local memorabilia. Fast and friendly service. Great price on a flight. A good stop. |
70 /100 4018 US HIGHWAY 93 N Large barnlike place with a neat older brewhouse and a great view of the hills. They were having a potluck while we were there with a demonstration of cider pressing and live music that ended with banjos by a campfire - a perfect finish to our Montana beer trip. Only two beers on offer, both were OK. There are normally three, and you can do single tasters, pints or a flight. Very friendly staff and locals. Very dog friendly with several brewhouse dogs. Worth a stop. With a larger and more varied selection, this place would be perfect. |
82 /100 114 MAIN STREET This was a unique place. Much more of a lived in feel than the newcomer brewpubs, this was sort of like sitting in your living room and drinking beer with your friendly, quirky distant relatives. Service was quick, efficient, cheery. A flight of all nine beers was on offer for just five bucks, plus pretzels and water thrown in. Entertainment was a song and dance act performed by a cute four year old girl in a princess costume. A real winner of a place. |
72 /100 4018 US HIGHWAY 93 N Keep your eyes peeled or you will miss it. Going south look left and if in the daytime you should see the silos. Good folks and service. German styles. |
80 /100 114 MAIN STREET Good place, good folks and good beer. 8 beers on tap. |
60 /100 114 MAIN STREET bit of a honky-tonk feel to the place but the people were genuine and the crowd jovial. beer quality surprisingly good, but i’m learning that montana drinkers actually have good taste and the brewers for the most part seem to know what they’re doing. |
74 /100 114 MAIN STREET This was one of those places that had a bunch of old western stuff on the wall, not really beer related whatsoever but just kind of displaying the fact that you are actually in the middle of nowhere and everything around here was very western at one time. The ladies working the bar were hot as hell and the beer was good. If you’re coming from Missoula you can keep going down to Bitterroot and make a full day of beer travel. |
66 /100 Red Arrow Hobbies and Homebrew Supplies (Homebrew Shop) 5095 RED ARROW HWY Right off I-94 so easy to get to if visiting the area, a small place that serves as a model rocket hobby store as well as a homebrew supply store. The owner Dave is an active homebrewer and will often offer up some samples of his recipes as well. A bit disorganized but since it is not a big place it is easy to find what you are looking for. Lots of grains and a good cost. |
