68 /100 51 ST THOMAS PLACE, Large Victorian corner pub on the village square in the Penkhull area of Stoke on Trent. Although it’s a Marston’s pub they had 4 guest beers on to compliment the 4 beers they had on from the Marston’s portfolio. Visited here for a Potteries CAMRA branch meeting. |
68 /100 Greyhound Inn (Bar) 5 MANOR COURT STREET 18th century pub on the pretty village style centre of Penkhull opposite the church. Various smallish drinking areas. 5 beers on tap, nothing particularly unusual though they did have a Charnwood beer on which is different for this area. The house beer called Greyhound bitter is a re-badge of Tetley bitter. |
