“A Black Country Ales pub with 3 regular beers from their brewery and 3 changing guests. Bar area has a snug and another room off it, and upstairs is a room with TV for sports and a dartboard, and a door leading out to a smoking area and a massive lawned garden with picnic style benches. Good beer and friendly pub.“

“Sandwiched between the main part of the town and Britain’s longest river it gets no shortage of visitors be it locals, families who are taking advantage of a break from the permanent funfair next door or the canal basic full of boats just a stones throw away. The attraction of cheap food and drinks is of course the major pull. Inside it is roomy with a couple of small rooms off a more defined open plan area in front of the main bar. At busy times it can take a while to get served, but for ale lovers there’s the regular two rows of pumps to choose from.“
