“This place is in a nice old building that was, and still is, a hotel. Small parking lot out front. Several large connected rooms on several levels plus a very large serving bar. Covered patio/beer garden on the side plus a large uncovered patio out front. Beer list is large but with fewer craft offerings than Spoons I've visited in the UK. Food of course is cheap and filling. Pleasant efficient service, you can even order and pay on your phone and staff will deliver to your table. The modern world.“

“This place was a very pleasant surprise. It looks small from the outside, but inside I stopped counting the individual bars at six, and there may be more. Front room is just restaurant tables. Then you go through to a central bar that feeds three or four separate areas, one of which is accessible through a door marked, logically, Bar. In the back there is a proper candlelit restaurant, although food is available throughout. And there is another level upstairs, although exploring the ground level was exercise enough for me. When we asked for the toilets, the barman said Go straight to the back of the bar, and keep going and going, almost until you're in Ohio; there are some barstools along the way if you need a rest. Top notch service, very friendly locals. Just the Hope Summer Session and a bunch of macros that every other bar had. But this is my #1 choice in Swords to drink the night away.“
