This is like any other Whole Foods and it’s one that serves beer and wine, which is a nice touch. They have half a dozen taps and a couple of coolers of bottles. It’s a fairly odd combination of obscure imports, big name imports, and a small amount of US staples. Seems to be what all Whole Foods locations strive for. Maybe it’s a hipster thing; I don’t know. I like the tables out on the sidewalk, nice place to hang out and have a sandwich, or some 100% organic $12 crackers from a country you’ve never heard of.“

Stopped in because it was right off the freeway. It looks like a dumpy liquor store with no indication that there might be any good beer inside. They have the standard selection of liquors, malt liquors, and pork rinds, but they also have some good beer. They have Firestone, Stone, Ballast Point, and some of the the other staples. They also have a real parking lot, which is nice given how busy the area is. I don’t have much business in the area nor do I live anywhere nearby so I probably wont be a regular.“

“A pretty large Whole Foods. Plenty of parking underneath. Have a BBQ spot inside which is nice. A very large bottle selection, with some stuff that other beergeeks missed (still have sanctification, hoptimum, abyss on shelves among others). They get some pretty good beers, Bruery’s Cuir, Utopias. Tap selection was good and mostly local (Bruery Mischief, Brouwerij West 9 Triple, Mission Shipwreck), with non local taps of Four Wyld Extra Pale Ale ("Organic"...ofcourse), Avery Maharaja and Great Divide Chocolate Yeti. The tasting bar also has wine, and offers charcuterie and cheese plates. They also had an interesting thing that I have never seen before. A little 1 gallon homebrew all grain kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop. The two employees I spoke to in the beer area (one happens to be a friend on BA), were both very knowledgeable. Prices were great on draft beers ($5 a pint for any of the above that I mentioned!). A good Whole Foods stop.“
