60 /100 Bar Si Dielli (Bar) RRUGA SHENASI DISHNICA Random place in the market place. Luckily outside of the meat and fish stands, but with nice breeze you can still breathe in of the aromas. 2 Puka beers on tap (light and "dark"), one size, around 240 lek per glass. Card payment available. English spoken. Cigarettes and smokers everywhere. |
48 /100 Bar Si Dielli (Bar) RRUGA SHENASI DISHNICA Bar direct on main Tirana bazar (market) with autenthic orientalal atmosphere. Service is... ehm... typical albanian. You have to be patient, but they are very kind and english speaking as well. Sellection is poor (in middle european point of view, but good for albanian ratios) - 2 craft beers from Beer Houze Puka (mountain brewery from north of Albania) - one pale lager, other amber lager - and 2 or 3 bottle beers (montenegrian Nikšičko, some Kellerbier from Germany). Food I do not try but many local people eat there. Price is for albanian circumstances higher but definitely not overprices (180 lek for a beer). Condition of beer is on albanian circumstances very well. I can kindly recomended this bar for every beergeek traveling to Albania. Probably the best best beers which I ever had in Albania. |
34 /100 Lulishte 1 Maji (Restaurant) RRUGA GEORGE W. BUSH Biergarden with plastic tables and chairs. 2 Albanian ordinary bottled lagers. No dark beers, no draught beer. Food good and cheap, service friendly and OK albeit it took some time to bring the food in spite of the few people present. |
38 /100 Lulishte 1 Maji (Restaurant) RRUGA GEORGE W. BUSH Just 2 macro taps, but they had 4 Albanian bottles, including the Golden Pils and Golden Weissbier, which are worth hunting down for the ticking-inclined. Large outdoor patio and fairly quiet for being so central. Service is competent, but not so friendly. Big menu too, though a pit pricey for Tirana. |
18 /100 Meduza Irish Pub (Bar) RRUGA MUSTAFA MATOHITI Perhaps this place was once better, but when I visited, none of their taps were flowing, and they only had three bottles of shitty pale lager available. Useless place now. |
22 /100 KONFERENCA E PEZES (ISH MISTO MAME) ND. 75/H A little walks out of the centre - about a 45 minute walk or 10 minute can ride. The place is tucked away in an industrial area, but the brewhouse itself is nice. They only had one beer on tap and it was a pissy lager, so can’t give it more than minimal marks on the selection front. Service was slow and unfriendly. Since you can find the Kaon lager elsewhere, there’s no reason to come here other than for a place tick. |
68 /100 Meduza Irish Pub (Bar) RRUGA MUSTAFA MATOHITI Meduza is a great pub. You can get service throughout the day and the music is tremendous. Highly recommended and is a profound spot in Albania. It is located in the building below the Prime Minister and is a very safe and fun atmosphere. I’ve been to many pubs and this one rates top on day list. |
60 /100 TeStela Resort (Stefani & Co) (Restaurant) AUTOSTRADA TIRANE - DURRES, KM 7 The Restaurant + Hotel is loceated directly at the brewery and is easy to find from Tirana, the sign is pretty big.
Stela Pils and Krudo are available from tap, the other ones in bottles (also for take away). There was no other place in Albania where I found the Strong beer and only one shop who had the Dark.
Food is good, only place in Albania that I saw serving big meat plates. After all the only real beer place I found in Albania. Definetly wort a visit. |
62 /100 Meduza Irish Pub (Bar) RRUGA MUSTAFA MATOHITI Tipico irish pub en el centro de Tirana.
Ambiente albanes.
Cervezas comerciales.
Buena terraza.
Si estas en tirana ya veras que no hay demasiados sitios mas. |
58 /100 Meduza Irish Pub (Bar) RRUGA MUSTAFA MATOHITI A laid back Irish pub located a few blocks East of the renowned Blokku district. Great location in a mix of leafy suburbia and local market stores. Only common exports on tap like Tuborg, Fosters and Guinness but the fridge holds some nice surprises for this region. Around 15 plus bottles including Chimay, Leffe, Paulaner, Franziskaner and other German and English ales I hadn’t heard of before. They also make an effort to serve beers in the proper glassware. The staff I was talking with were excited that a variety of different beers were stocked, and so they should be. A good forward step for the city. The pub is decked out with Guinness and American Whisky gear, and there’s a baby piano in the corner begging for talented fingers. A decent find in Tirana. |
