“Since I was in Tofte I had to visit the local Vinmonopolet bottle shop. This was a really small one with about 45 bottles. Friendly service and I was the only customer. Convenient for locals who now don't have to drive 50 minutes to Drammen if they want a craft beer. For me, just a place tick. (Visited August 5th 2023)“

“On my my home from Drammen I did a detour around Hurumlandet. I have never been in this area before and a new brewery is also a good reason to visit. Hurum Bryggeri is easy to find but has very limited opening times. Normally open Saturdays 11.00-15.00. If they're not open a good tip is to visit the grocery store Holmsbu Handel. It is only 15 minutes by car and that store has almost the same bottled selection as the brewery. At Hurum Bryggeri I purchased 8 bottled beers and had a nice chat with one of the owners. The business was running very well but they would most likely keep on going as a small, local craft brewey. It is more like a hobby project, they all have other jobs and run the brewery in their spare time. Real enthusiasts! (Visited August 5th 2023)“

“Tofte is not really the most central place on this planet. But that is not the reason why you go here anyway. It is absolutely a lovely place by the Oslo fjord. And now they do also have their own brewery. It is located in an old industrial estate. Beware of opening hours. Call them infront. They do put out signs in the road when they are open. So it is not that hard to find. Not much traffic either ha ha It is a small brewery as many others. But these guys are trying to make most of the equipment themselves. Really nice work. Friendly and helpful staff. They gladly show you the brewery and lots of nice beer talk. They do off course only sell their own beer. What you will find depend on the season. Normally 4 to 6 different beer. Recommendable de tour if you are in this area. Also if you go with a boat. A marina on the back side of the building. “
