60 /100 26 S. MAIN ST. Parking is tough in this area, brewery lot is small, and the Fitness place next door will tow you in a heartbeat.
Inside is a large central bar and a small extension that abuts the fermentation vessels. Small covered deck in back. The "Sampler" was a succession of three ounce pours served in a shaker pint glass, never seen that before. Made me feel guilty (and staff gave me a hard time) if I didn’t finish one of the samples. Beers were so-so. Loud music prevented normal conversation. No food. No worth the detour from Greenville but OK if you happen to be passing by. |
56 /100 26 S. MAIN ST. Lively on an early Friday afternoon. Large front door opens in good weather to a street-side patio with awning. Near Swamp Rabbit bike trail, so there are bike racks in front and bikers inside. Six beers on tap with a good range of styles. Beers are all good but hop levels are low, especially in the hoppy styles (e.g., the DIPA drinks like an APA in terms of hops).
Plenty of seating inside and on a deck behind the bldg., plus a few seats on Main St. (weather permitting). |
80 /100 26 S. MAIN ST. Small brewery and tasting room in a small town. Outdoor seating on the back porch, walk in to bar on your right with fermenters and brewhouse behind it, seating to your left. Service was great, very friendly and excited about their beer. Only had five beers on tap, but they were all pretty decent. Food trucks are apparently there often, but we missed out. If you’re travelling through Traveler’s Rest, it’s worth a stop. |
