“Came here on 13.1.2022. Nano brewery in an industrial estate area close to Troy. Around 10 beers on tap, most of them are Imperials. Liked all beers I had (New England, Hefe, Red). Although the place looks disorganized I liked the ambiance as it is authentic. Good music and Food truck. My favorite brewery in the Troy area. Shame they only open Thursday - Sunday.“

“Came here on 18.12.2019. Very commercial place with merchandising at the entrance, a U-shaped bar made of stone and a large restaurant area. It is more about the restaurant than the beer. Some tanks visible and an open kitchen. Had the Pale Ale, was ok but nothing special. The Hazy IPA was quite good. Liked the Jambalaya. Not a place you have to visit, but ok, if you want to have dinner and decent beers.“

Yard House - Troy (Restaurant)

“Came here on 17.12.2019. Located close to the Marriott in Troy. Very similar to many Yard houses I have visited: wide bar, 100 beers on tap and professional service. As you have not too many choices in Troy definitely to be considered.“

“Dedicated parking lot which is some what hard to find because you have to turn way before you get to it on Big Beaver. Service was pretty good. Selection of their beers which was pretty standard with a couple which were descent. I enjoyed my bison burger and my fries. I would go back. “

“Stopped in later in a Friday Afternoon. Dedicated parking. The place seemed busy. Unfortunately, this is probably one of the smallest Whole Foods I’ve ever visited, and therefor it had a somewhat measly beer section. They did have a few Schramm’s meads, which I was surprised to see, but otherwise there is not much to see here. The food part of the store was okay, but lacking as far as Whole Foods tend to go. No need to visit this particular place again.“

“Nice selection of beer (and wine). Large coolers, mix a 6, large bottles. Nice variety. Prices are OK and in line with most similar stores.“

“Good food, nice ambiance, mediocre beer. Service is OK, nothing more. The place gets crowded around happy hour. $4.95 for an 8 beer flight if not a bad deal.“

“While not quite as nice a store as its sister in Rochester Hills, this is still worth a stop every now and then, and its location is a little more convenient for me. Where they fall short of their sister store is in the size of their selection and the fact that they do not have Ratebeer or Beer Advocate ratings attached to their beer, as the sister store does. The 12 oz. singles is less varied and unfortunately more focused on commercial beers (mostly imported). Sometimes they do have a beer I don’t see at the sister store, and a rarer beer might be available for a longer period of time than at the sister store. Their 22-25 oz. selection is also much smaller, but they do have some very interesting choices. When you enter the store they now have a stand for newer beers, which is nice. While this place doesn’t seem to be as popular as its sister store, it’s still an exceptional place to buy beer.“

“Part of the Granite City Food & Brewery chain, this is an american style restaurant with a brewery. The food is nice, the beers are ok, nothing more. According to thier website, part of the brewing is done at a central location, then the wort is shipped to each chain for fermentation.“

“Looks like a new wine and beer store. Pretty good beer selection including a reasonable singles area. Prices are competitive, service was not needed. A nice place worth returning to.“

“Really small Whole Foods that is really not worth a stop. Small beer selection. Only nice thing I saw B Nektar meads for a real good price. Would actually say the Super Value had a better selection.“

“Figured I would stop while trying to kill some time in the area. Nice size store that specializes in wine, but does have a good sized beer selection with nice singles rack. Thing that really stuck out about this place was how clean this place was. I mean those bottles were sparkling in the coolers. Doesn’t compare to the stores in Royal Oak but work a stop“

“Primarily a wine shop as you could surmise from the place’s name. Has a decent craft brew and import selection. Maybe 50-60 different varieties in six and four packs and maybe 30-40 more bombers and other assorted single bottles. Loose bottle shelf at the back of the store for inexpensive tick-marking of something you haven’t tried. However, prices seemed a bit high and nothing was on sale. Service seemed decent but didn’t seem they had a "beer guy" on staff.“

“Fairly solid beer selection for a grocery store. Being a Whole Foods they’ve pretty much moved beyond the BMC paradigm. they have Chimay, Unibroue, and Jolly Pumpkin among other craft brews. You can’t make your own sixer but they do have a few bombers available. It could be much worse.“

“Pricey "health food" grocery store. They have pretensions of being an earthy-crunchy hippie commune, but the beer and wine selections are worth a look notwithstanding. The beer selection has shrunk by about 50% in the last two years, bottle conditioned English pints have all but disappeared from their shelves, but they have a few Flemish artisanal styles left. Above average selection of Michigan and other Great Lakes states’ beer, and lots of German beer in sixes and twelves. There are other stores in the area that are better, but this one is close to home and gets visited regularly.“

“Knowledgeable staff, and a great beer selection for a chain market. Lots of Unibroue, and I got a Great Divide Oak Yeti Stout. Good selection of 6-packs and 750ml bottles.“

“Not the greatest. If you’re in this area, you may as well drive a few miles down Crooks Rd. and go to Holiday Market in Royal Oak. Much better selection, and more knowledgeable staff.“

“Just a giant gracery store that happens to carry some pretty good beer. Nothing special though, I did also find an Avery 10 sitting around. Lots of Unibroue, and a fair amount of belgians. A bit pricey. Plenty of better places to go in Metro Detroit.“

“A decent place to find beer, if you’re in this neck of the woods. They do have typical standard selection with some Avery 10, Belgians and singles available. Prices are decent.“

“Decent beer selection, the usual. Some stuff that you know has been sitting there a while, but overall not bad.“
