“Love this place! Stopped in to check out their offerings and left feeling like it was the best experience I had while in Seattle. The owner was working and was super-friendly without being pushy. The selection was great and the service was flawless. A must-stop if you're into mead and are in Seattle.“

“Quite the trek if you're in Seattle, but it's across the way from Contrivance Meadery. Unfortunately, Oppegaard's mead is not the best. The honey character just isn't expressed well in any of the meads and they rely mostly on cockamamie adjuncts. You can do a flight of 6 for $8 plus tax, which are served in plastic cups. Not very impressive products here.“

“If you're in Seattle, it's a bit of a trek. But it's close to SeaTac and across the way from another meadery (Oppegaard). They do a tasting of 10 meads for $10 plus tax. The mead is all about 4:1 water:honey and mostly with adjuncts. It's all a bit rough and not very refined, but I've had much worse. Pleasant service. Not worth a special trip.“

“Typical Total Wine, which I like: lots of singles from local breweries. Some beers in the fridge, but most are warm on the shelf. A few NA beers, but only one in a single can.“

“Giant looking from the outside in a big mall complex area. Inside, still big but looks like its really trying to be fancy yet its a chain place. Big bar, big seats and I assume big portions but I did not eat. Stopped in on a Tuesday evening b/c I was at the mall picking up something. Lots of taps, 12 BJ’s beers of which 4 were seasonals and 1 was still the punpkin and this is late January. And it looked like about 12 local taps. Flight of 8 cost $15 with tax, seems steep. The regular lineup was basically undrinkable. The seasonals ranged from average to good. I wont come back but I am not against their drinking more of their seasonals. Service was average for giant chain place. I mean I was by myself on a Tuesday night right in the middle of the bar with no one near me.“

“Warehouse style giant store with a rather massive selection, including a ton of singles. Excellent growler/tap station too. Some hard to find magnums. Service was non existent, but I wanted to browse at my leisure anyway.“

“Almost exclusively where I shop now. Hands down the cheapest prices in town. Selection is ridiculous. I haven’t found anything rare there but they do have a rack of seasonal and special release beers where I’ll usually find something new and interesting. six packs are generally 1 or 2 dollars cheaper than grocery stores.“

“The best of the chain bottle shops in the area. A nice selection of local/regional beers with decent prices to boot. They have growler fills. The guy there seemed knowledgeable about the beers.“

“It’s a big-box store, so I didn’t expect anything unique about the "ambiance" when I went inside. However, places like this do have an enormous selection of bottled beer, plus they sell kegs and fill growlers as well. The store is very well-organized, and each beer has a tag describing its characteristics. The aisles are wide enough to shop without feeling cramped or rushed. It can take a long time to browse all the beers in this store, so thankfully they have a bathroom. The staff is exceptionally helpful.“

“So we were shopping....well she was shopping and I was tagging along only to remember that yes there is a silver lining to this...shopping in southcenter means that we get to take a lunch break and drink beer!! Having seen the advertisement in the Sunday paper coupon section I realized that sooner or later I would have to try BJ’s. It reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory except with better and more beer....lots more beer. They’ve got about 9-11 housebrewed beers and a fairly solid handful of guest taps as well as a surprisingly long list of bottled imports. The server we had was excellent and even though we found a still-stringy part of a skewer inside of some of our shrimp tacos the staff and management made it disappear, comped the dish along with a ’pizzokie’ and took the appropriate actions to make us happy. A++ for service, the food is above average, and is there anything better than a brewpub to hang out in while someone else shops?“

“A brewery in the mall. What a great idea. They got at least eight of their own brew on tap and usually a seasonal, which you might have to ask about (they do not always advertise it). Food is better than most of the food in South Center and the pizza is also great. In addtion to their beers, there are always at least 30 or so other beer from the area or even Europe: Leffe, Schneider’s Adventinus, and even Köstritzer on tap!) If that was not enough they have about 30-40 bottled Belgium beers to offer. Yes, Tukwila is better place now that a Bj is possible!“

“I was surprised as I was told by my fried hey lets hit BJ’s at the Southcenter mall. I was like no that will not be any good. Wow on a Tuesday not even and it was not so bad as my daughter would say. They had 7 handcrafted brews that they all make and they brew right there and wow it was pretty yummy. Had some great food and the service was still pretty new so they worked hard and did a great job. The place is like 2 months old and wow it was jumping with people. The beers where pretty good had some great flavors and I was able to say hey I would come back if in the area. Stop on by and give it a try.“
