“This brewpub offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere within the former Gurten brewery area. Worth visiting even for people who don’t like beer because of the cozy and quiet, yet central location for both locals and tourists (the Gurten cable car valley station is only a few dozen meters away; the Gurtenbahn tram #9 station is just five minutes away on foot). Wabräu offers their own brews (about 3-5 beers) as well as some basic snacks/sausages. Attention: This place is only open on (usually) Friday about once a week ("Fyrabebier") with longer opening hours about once a month ("Frytig-Schoppe"). Check their homepage for details. “

“Very nice place with well-crafted beers. This brewery is located on the far end of the former place of the deceased Gurten brewery. Friendly brewers. Opened only once a month.“
