“Just outside the town of Walpole on the NH side of the Connecticut River. Small parking lot was full when I arrived a few minutes before opening time, and the line was out the door. You order from just one register, on one end of the bar, and with only one employee working the front of the house it took quite some time for her to take care of enough of the crowd and take my order, seated at the bar. Once you order, you can sit at sunny picnic tables outside or at restaurant tables inside. The good news is that the food comes out very quickly. Sort of the farm to table equivalent of fast food, pretty tasty. Sixteen beers on the taplist including two ciders; hyperlocal, from small breweries in the immediate area. Available in 16 ounce pours (thankfully not shaker pints) or flights of four for $12. Best taplist of any restaurant in the region by far.“
