“Called in to see if they had any of their own beers on and were lucky as Blue Bell Atlas was on along with a couple of other real ales. Pleasant pub with entry through a large built on area rather like a conservatory with seating and a hatch through to the bar. Large boards with a good menu selection of mains and puds either side of the hatch. A few seats outside by the car park.“

“Visited 21/08/16. Large Brewery pub situated next to the Canal, popular for its large carvery and with bikers and visitors from afar. Quite a pleasant setting off quiet county lanes with the canal next door. Beer was one from the Blue Bell brewery and 3 guests. 5 real ciders too and some old school keg beers in Theakstons Mild. Decent service as it was very busy, and the food was excellent.“
