“Just off highway. Good vibe to place. Warm and comfy. no food but food trucks. IPA was OK, rest not terrible. Good for a quick beer and on way.“

“Old School 90's brewpub. Restaurant and brewery. All wood. Lots of locals at bar. Service was good Food portions were huge, quality average. Beers were pretty average. Infected IIPA and a pretty bad Barleywine.“

“Nice "modern" venue that is eclectic - wood/copper/ss(brew kit seems part of tasting room). Good beers. Starting to go with barrel aged. Great service and Brewer conversation.“

“This new place boasts a largely raw wood interior, with lightly charred boards and a copper sheet bar top. The bar is open to the brew house and there seems to be room for expansion (on the brewery side). There were 5 house beers on including a very good IPA called Fairweather. This is easy to find in Wasilla and a nice addition to the Alaska brew scene.“

“A small selection of local micros at decent prices. If you can make it to Anchorage just shop at the Brown Jug Warehouse. Otherwise, this is a fine stop for local beers.“

“This brewpub is located right off the main thoroughfare in Wasilla, seemingly close to the Palin’s. There were a fair number of beers on, average quality and pretty good food. Prices are average and service great. A mostly wooden interior with local art adorns the walls. The brewery is off to the left as you look at the front of the building or bar.“

“Selection is small, and mostly in the walk in cooler. Exactly one mead on offer, a Danish one. Plenty of parking since it’s in a stripmall. Nothing special.“

“Basically a restaurant in a stripmall that also serves beer. Food was tasty, large portions. Friendly efficient service. A dozen beers, available in complete or partial flights. Beers were just OK. Worth a stop.“

“Cutting to the chase, these were the tastiest beers we had on our day of brewpub hopping. The brewery itself is so new it still has that new car smell. Lots of neat woodwork, right down to the wooden grain box, as well as a copper top bar. Tasting area is intimately connected to the brewhouse, no glass barriers here. Flights of four beers are seven bucks. Very tasty stuff. Score will rise as selection increases. Go out of your way to come here.“

“Nice little place, (except the bluegrass music). Sample flights available. I’ll come back!“

“Brand new brewery with very nice spacious taproom. They have 10 taps set-up, however at the opening only had 4 beers and root beer flowing. Very personable staff and you can tell they have put their blood, sweat, and tears into this place. Their IPAs and stout are definitely on point, I look forward to trying there future beers. I could see me updating my score once they are opening a little while longer. This place is in my backyard as its maybe 15min drive from my house, so I will be a regular for sure.“

“Service was good. Ambiance ok. Food was...slow, really slow. Like 40 min. after we ordered. There were only about 10 other people in there, two hours after the lunch rush. My wife’s burger easy WAY over done. So were the oysters in my sandwich (but I’ve never had a fried oyster sandwich before...). The fries were good. I didn’t drink beer there, but too home a growler of stout, and it was good. So go for the beer, and maybe fries.“

“Locals watering hole with outpost dive bar flair. For me, it had a lot of character(s). Sitting at the bar was fun. The service was good, and so were the beers. Didn’t order, but the pizza looked happy.“

“New/old location remodeled and reopened with a 20 tap growler bar. The location makes for easy access with plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly and looking to help out. Decent selection of beer in bottles, cans and on tap. If your in the Wasilla/Big Lake area this beats traveling all the way into Anchorage/Eagle River for beer. Most likely will become my local frequent.“

“A very German style bar, with many international and local taps. The ambiance overall took me back to my days in Germany. The food is brats and pretzels. The staff is a bit slow and I would say less than friendly.“

“Drove by here a lot when going to Last Frontier Brewing, now that I am living in Wasilla I decided to stop by for lunch. What I discovered is a place that truly embraces its name with 29 of 31 taps being locally Alaskan brewed beer. The service was great and the food was delicious. They have most of the staple beers Midnight Sun, Silver Gulch, Arkose Kenai, Kassiks, but also have seasonals from Alaskan, Denali, and Glacier Brewhouse. The building used to be Chili’s so its very nicely set up with a bar area and family seating. If you like pizza and beer then clearly you need to stop here.“

“My new local beer store. They have a big walk in bottle section with all the beers organized by countries and brewers. You can also get many beers in 4/6/cases. They also have a nice sake and mead section. Recently added a growler bar as well. Service was okay, but I don’t use it much when I know what I want. I will be coming here more often with the move.“

“Nice place to get some grub and some good suds. The staff is very friendly along with helpful. A plus is you an get a you call it 6 beer sampler platter. They also have beers to go in bombers and growlers. Wasilla is about 45/50 min from Anchorage, but if your going that way you should definitely stop.“

“Nice clean store, they have shopping carts. The service is very good, I have special ordered many kegs from them. For the Mat-su valley the selection is the best, you will have to drive in to Anchorage for anything better. Prices are good especially if you shop the sales.“
