“Smallish space next door to Vitamin Sea. Beer list is eclectic, and not all great. Staff were friendly. Flights of 3 available. Fine.“

“Large airy industrial space. Plenty of decent IPAs, a few other things too. Small pours available. Plenty of cans to go. A little soulless but the beer is good.“

“Another insanely good craft beer hangout, with some of the most exciting beers in the world right now.“

“Very cool place. No kitchen but they had someone selling pretty darn good bbq. The beer selection was impressive with all kinds of barrel aged varieties, mostly of the higher abv styles that I prefer.“

“Located in an industrial building in a neighborhood, this place had more parking than I was expecting. Of course given the name barrel aged beers are the thing here. They really embrace the concept going as far as to make the bathrooms look like they're inside of barrels. Cool vibe, nice people, pretty solid beer. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.“

“Nice cozy place. Easy to find. Good selection. Not huge, but very well represented. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. The food (selection and quality) is a bit lacking. Not terrible, but could be better. I would go here again.“

“This is my goto store. I lived in Weymouth several years ago and was right down the street from here so this is where I’d go to get a 6 pack. At the time it was good, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I left and moved back to the south Shore in 2009 and started coming here and haven’t stopped. The beer manager, John, really takes care of his customers and does his best to get the best possible on the shelves. It’s a small place so the selection isn’t huge, but it’s well thought out. A huge 22.oz bottle selection and great six pack selection as well. You’ll find stuff from many different breweries from all over the States and a great import selection as well. It’s located next to Shaw’s in Weymouth in the small shopping plaza. You’re only cheating yourself if you don’t go here, kind of hidden, but well worth it.“

“A gem in the South Shore. This is a small bar with huge offerings. They have a hundred bottle beer list. You can sign up and get a plaque when your done. They have recently have had a lot of cask-ed aged ales which are always a treat. i recently was able to enjoy a Mayflower Thanksgiving ale(a combo of stronf ale and dark ale in style), They also had Mayflowers unfiltered IPA which was a suprise. A gem! If you are in the area and are looking for good brew for lunch this little place has alot to offer. The more bars I visit, the more valuable this little bar becomes!!! What a place! “

“Granite Liquors is in a smalling shopping plaza next to a Shaw’s. My first time there, I barely found the place. Now a regular, not a problem. They have an expansive collection of American craft and imports. A trip to Boston is no longer needed. Not to mention the pricing is better. They don’t seem to have as much ’6pk’ options as most but way more offerings in 22oz bottles. Every sought after beer available in Mass, seems to make it’s way to the shelf. Store is definitely a hidden gem!“

“Granite Liquors is located in a strip mall between a nail salon and a Shaw’s supermarket. I’m in there at least once a week, and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. The staff is young, helpful if you need them, and they generally know every word to every Beastie Boys’ song cranking through the overhead speakers. There’s a walk-in cooler at the back with all the usual suspects, but the micro-brew meat and potatoes is a dedicated aisle that’s grown significantly over the past year. Stone, Dogfish Head, Rogue, etc. For a store this small, the selection is truly impressive.“

“Sort of a small sports bar atmosphere but cleaner, tidier and quieter than most (at least when I was there). I noticed a strong slightly stale beer smell when I walked in. The service was friendly and attentive. Pretty standard bar/pub-type menu. The tap selection was pretty good (17 beers) with a few interesting choices (their website apparently doesn’t update the tap list too often I found). All the beers are served in shakers and just a little too cold. Prices slightly high ($5-6 per draft). I’d go back again if in the area just to see what was on.“

“Place feels like home, or your buddie’s basement. Great long bar with lots of Flat screen tv’s- but not overwhelming. Video games, jukebox etc. About 16 or so taps with all micros plus over 1 bottles. Usually a good deal of locals, but usually a few high octane or rarer treats. The owner, tom, is always willing to talk some beer or offer up something great. Great pub fare and definitely not over-priced. Really- teh only place on the south shore to get a great selection of beers.“
