“Updating my rating. Looking back at the places after several years. Ambiance - still a real clean, nice comfortable place to sit down. Nice decor, clean restrooms. Good atmosphere. Service - over the years, the staff is slipping in knowledge of the beers and what they actually have in stock. They seemed to be waitresses who came on and really just transferred in from a traditional 10 macro beer family style restaurant. The selection of bottles has also dipped in # and in quality. The store that sells individuals also has less to pick form as well. Used to be quite a little place, not as much anymore. Still very good. Food - the food has also slipped a little. The prices don’t measure up to the quality. Value - the value is on the line of being overpriced. It’s not high, but you didn’t get your money’s worth either. Overall - I really cherished this place, but hit has dimmed in it’s standards. Hope that changes and returns to what it was when it 1st opened.“

“What an odd place to find craft beer. It is exactly what it’s called. A market cafe. In a big shopping mall. With one small shelf of craft and European beer. Not a huge selection, but some good ones. And at $15 for a mix six, it’s a great price. Friendly, if not particularly knowledgeable, service.“

“A make-your-own six pack has been there most of the time, but the selection is small (though there have been good beers). If you are taking out, the food is mediocre. Not bad if you have to be at the mall.“

“I was in the mall so I checked it out. It is not a bad place for beer. Not the best selection but definetly not the worst either. They have some decent beers there. They also package some nice gift kits with beer and a glass, some with golf balls etc. They also sell some baked good and have a place to eat. For a shop in the mall it isn’t bad.“

“Nice little German place inside the Lehigh Valley mall. I love the brats in the restaurant, and the hot dogs are great for on-the-go snacking. Really nice selection of brews here. Worth the trip if you are near the mall. It’s a little overpriced, but you pay for the ability to buy single bottles, unlike buying cases at nearly every other distributor in the state.“

“Located within the Lehigh Valley Mall, this German bier garten is a nice little place to get some pretty good German and American food. I love their wursts but what I really love about this place is it’s beer selection. Half of the tap list is thier standard german beers - Franz and Spaten. The other half is seasonals from Germany and Belgium and some American Micros. The bottle list is broken down by country and I can usually find something that I never had before. The U.S. Micros list includes HOTD, Bells, Smuttynose, Thirsty Dog, Hoppin Frog and Hoppocket Ale and Pils plus many more. They have a seperate shop attached to the side where people can get food to go for their lunch breaks or whatever. This si where the bottle shop is and while the selection is decent, the prices are not. I have seen Port brewing bottles going for double for what I can find in the area. Nice selction of glassware but overall this part of the place is overpriced.“
