| 72 /100 Gillian’s Ale House (Bar) 7835 POST RD “Made a quick trip after work before closing time. Kind of a small bar with some loud music. Staff was friendly enough. Guinness Draught was served in a the appropriate glass. Mainly saw basic pint glasses elsewhere. I would call selection average with the local favorites Sam Adams Lager, Light and Seasonal(didn’t see which one they had). Harpoon’s IPA and of course Narragansett Lager. More of a basic pub atmosphere with the obligatory TV’s for sports addicts. Mainly macro brewed beers but had some offerings for the adventurous. The Guinness Black Lager was offered but wasn’t on the menu. They also had Anchor Porter which was a surprise. Not bad overall and may visit after work for the occasional brew.“ |

They have random singles, good regionals and seasonals, a wide variety of bombers and 750s from nationwide micros. Lots of six packs. Friendly helpful staff. Quite a few more Belgians than many places and fair prices. It’s not exceptional, but for this neck of the woods, it’s worth noting, because there aren’t too many places this good until you get to either Warwick or Wakefield.“ |
