“Visited 12/2/2019. Arrived at opening time so were amongst first people in but it had got busy by the time we left at 1pm. Great to see a country pub apparently thriving and it appears to be doing a lot right. Very spacious interior, clearly popular for food. It’s small brewery is out front, and theirs made up most of the available cask beers and were in decent condition. Service and welcome was very friendly. Great visit, somewhere I’d like to go back to sometime.“

“Great country side pub with ample parking space. We arrived just before lunchtime and the place quickly filled with locals coming here to eat. They had four of their own beers on cask and four guest casks in addition. They interior looks new but is made in old style, which I very much like. This is the sort of place I would love to take my family for a meal.“

“Nice place with good service. Four casks of their own available. Good seating. Visited on a Tuesday at noon, so it had just opened and wasn’t too busy, but people kept coming and looks like a place that locals want to go to. All beers were in good condition.“

“Nearly entered this as a new pub as I didn't think of looking for it in Alvechurch. We chose to sit in the left hand bar which is very dog friendly and enjoyed our 2 Weatheroak Hill beers from the 4 available, Icknield Pale Ale and Impossible Pale Ale. Other beers from Wye Valley, Hook Norton, St Austell, Shropshire, Holdens or Hobsons, Love this pub in the summer in the lovely big garden.“

“Nice country pub and not for from the motorway so it was easy to find. Only really hoped in to try Weatheroak Hill beer, which they had in abundance, but i’d certainly head back again. The lay out is two rooms both fairly large, the larger (right) is more of a restaurant, the smaller (left) more of a bar.“

“Taphouse for the Weatheroak Hill Brewery. An absolute must visit for any ale lover in the area and well worth the trip from Birmingham too. They sell their own four real ales brewed at the pub, plus around ten additional ales plus a few fizzy lagers for the non-believers. There are two bars with fireplaces, both with a real traditional local old world feel. The pub and brewery have been owned by the same family for 40 years and I’m sure that many parts of the pub have not changed in that time. Service is absolutely first rate as are their own beers. Check out the gorgeous and relatively inexpensive pork pies. You won’t regret it!“

“A pub of two halves, there is a restauranty half, largish a touch impersonal and then there is the public bar. This is how a pub should be, a mix of locals, rambers and visitors, great atmosphere, basic and very welcoming.Heaving with people and dogs and humming with conversation. Very good.“

“Great place. Prefer the bar and in the winter there is a real fire to accompany the Real Ales, most of which are their own and there is always a guest beer or two. In the summer there is plenty of seating outside. Well worth a visit.“

“Beautiful setting, right in the Warwickshire countryside. This pub has loads going for it - a microbrewery onsite (Weatheroak Ales), a well regarded restaurant, large beer garden, homely and traditional interior - with bar and lounge, and a good range of beers, both real ale and some Belgian bottles. Always busy, despite being a fair way from a city (the nearest is Birmingham), and not that well served by public transport. Superb on a sunny afternoon, or evening, and great for a pint of tasty bitter, in a top notch country pub. This is a great place.“
