“Just off the main town square, large brick building, smaller tap room, slightly cramp. We tired 4 ales, 2 were great, two were decent. Friendly staff, they knew a lot about what was in the beer. Their beers on tap were extensive. I brought home a bomber of their Java White Russian Porter called "The Dude"“

“Really great spot. Chill, dark vibe. About 17 house taps on today, and flights of 6 for $9. A couple really excellent brews as well. I’m a fan for sure.“

“Small but offers great beer. Did not have the food but i hear the pizza is good. Wide variety with over 14 taps flowing with their own beers. Many seasonals when i was in and the flight is solid!“

“Small little tap room that I was only able to peek my head into as I was with the family. Worth a stop off in crown point but more to sample beer than for the food which is mediocre pub grub and fried fare. Did not try pizza, which could be the saving grace, I will definitely check that out next time. Beers offered were of a wide variety with some creative offerings. Will stop in again when traveling on I-65.“

“Well for ambiance nothing better than beer Geek bar. very small and friendly with eager service. No food but there is a pizza shop and I think you can order in. A handful of their own beers and some nice guest bottles.“

“Stopped in here on the way into Indy. Was pleasantly surprised by the variety and the beer was solid. Didn’t have any food but the prices were very reasonable. Service was alright, not much to complain about. Would hit it again.“

“Great selection of beers and friendly service. The Grand Poobah Russian Imperial Stout on tap was world class. The restaurant is family friendly. Highly recommended for a trip.“

“Small, small, small place. I personally feel that their beer is the highest quality. Maybe they have 6 beers on tap, but all 6 beers are true to style. I would actually frequent this place, but it is a little too far away. You can order standard pub fare at the restraunt next door. Great clean true-to-form beer, and approachabel waitstaff.“

“Hello David Hunter, It’s Darren. I in no way was condescending to you that night, I never made fun of you and I treat my patrons with respect (if anything I make fun of myself each and every night). I simply asked you why you did not clean your growler. Your growler still had 2 inches of beer in it and the growler and cap were encrusted with mold. No bartender would ever fill that growler with beer. Another patron told you to take it to the restroom to clean it, not me. It would have taken 10+ minutes in order to properly clean and sanitize your growler. On a busy Friday night that is not a possibility. This is why all the bartenders politely ask the customers to immediately rinse out and clean their growlers when they are empty. Dawn was a table away that night, if you were unhappy with my service why didn’t you turn to her? Dawn does a great job at the brewery and so does Kaitlyn. So David, instead of calling me names (neanderthal), calling Dawn, and calling my boss, why don’t you just come in and talk to me. I NEVER once put you down, you were just mad because I wanted you to pay $4 extra for a new glass.“

“Darren. I must add that you are a liar from your post. That’s all I am going to say and I have decided to take my money elsewhere as I told you that evening. When you are no longer working there I will consider coming back. First of all if you walk in to the Brewery area and you see the neanderthal bartender Darin, be prepared to be treated like your the neanderthal and you’re at Ed Debevics. This guy is as condescending as they come and he is totally willing to watch your money walk out the door if you do not have a spotlessly steam cleaned growler. If your growler is not perfect he will ask you to go to the bathroom in wash it out yourself or he will NOT fill it. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I can only imagine how many patrons he has driven away. So if you like getting treated like dirt when you go to support your local brew, this place is for you. Thanks for the horrible service Darin. Maybe try going on Thursday nights and ask for Dawn. She is pretty respectful and actually acts like she wants your money.“

“Nice stop in Crown Point. Attached to a pizza place and the food was pretty good. Beers are alright but nothing very special. Not much seating inside with a decent sized patio.“

“A neat out of the way place. The staff was exceptional, as was the patio at 5pm on a sunny 65 degree afternoon. Reports on the connecting pizza joint are all favorable, but my party didn’t sample anything. ps - the homebrewed root beer is as good or better than the original A&W on tap at roadside stands 40 years ago.“

“Good place to visit if you are in the area to visit 3Floyds or otherwise. The pub is snug and a nice place to hide out from the sun or snow on a weekend afternoon. There is usually a lot of variety in the ales and all are average or better. Food service can be slow and sketchy.“

“Easy to find location and parked on street in front. Small place with bar for four or five and a couple tables. Good beer selection with the beers that were average to above average. Did not have food and don’t know if they serve it.“

“Don’t come for the food. Come and enjoy the beer! They are not as hoppy in general as 3 Floyds and carry some unique brews. The Coffee Stout was excellent.“

“I have been here several times and I too had high hopes for this place because of the brewing expertise. However you should all be aware that Jim Cebak has left Crown Brewing and you can already see and taste the difference. Only one beer on tap, an IPA which wasn’t nearly as good as the previous APA and Stouts.“

“Small brewpub with a pizza parlor. Small bar area, (7 tables and 5 seats at the bar). The beers on tap were Sara Blonde Ale and Kil Mister Stout and while both were very good I favored the stout. Very flavorable and tasty. Talked to Jim Cibak for quite some time and I concluded that there are many more good things to come at this establishment and I look forward to making many revisits to try what’s new on tap. A definite stop if in the area.“

“I agree with the prior two raters. This is a new brewpub with great possibilities. Attached to a pizza parlor with a fair sized beer garden (Who the heck says patio?), there’s plenty of room for all. Being there on a weekday afternoon, I got a chance to talk with brewer Jim Cibak for quite a while. He seems to have a good idea of what he wants to accomplish and it sounds good to me. Only two brews were on tap when I was there, a hoppy porter and a mild ale, and both were quite good. This is a place to keep your eye on.“

“Great brew pub in its infancy, only showing promise for the future. A small nook backed by a reputable staff, great example of simplicity meets elegance. Limited capacity, take advantage of outdoor seating while the weather is tolerable. Only two beer on tap at a time for now but they go fast!! Blonde Ale and Porter currently on tap. The porter is distinct in its ability to seperate the chocolaty flavors from the bitter hoppiness. I would recommend the blonde ale to anyone visiting a brew pub for the first time. Only better things to come. See you Sept. 27th for Oktoberfest !“

“Just out of the gate but I am impressed with what I saw so far. A small brewpub with a pizza joint attached. The two beer on tap were both very good to style. I talked quite a bit with the brewer and he seems to have a clue to how to appeal to beer geeks and the casual drinker at the same time. Expect bigger beer come wintertime. I able reviewing this brewery on as much promise as the current state of brewing. A must try before heading up to Three Floyds.“
