“My wife and I arrived in the middle of a Friday afternoon when there were only about a dozen customers, all seated at the bar. We asked for a table and the waitress seated us near a window that can be raised in the summer. Before we left about 20 more diverse customers came. Service was fast and friendly. There were about 12 house beers on tap, most of which haven't yet made it to Ratebeer. Our sandwiches were substantial and tasty. The beer was more enjoyable than I thought it would be, based on the one canned Byway IPA I had tried previously. Best of all, my wife, who is not normally a beer drinker, wants to return here with me.“

“This is a warehouse space in the crackhead,drunkard,opiate, smog ravaged town of hammond. Very dark and "evil" inside, I guess the negativity of the surrounding area decided to creep its way in. Bartenders are a mix of locals and edgy hipster chicago imports. Music is broski hardcore/stoner/doom metal. In fact this place is trying it’s damnedest to be three floyds. Their IPAs are usually awful but their stouts seem to be their specialty. They are the big 10% barrel aged diabetes bombs though and I wasn’t interested in that during a warmer summer day, so selection was a bit troublesome for me. They had a brewery only (at the time) can of pilsener that is actually one of their better brews surprisingly. Service was odd but good they seemed to have more barbacks/bartenders than needed and they all kind of rotated in their roles. I didn’t try the food but it looked very 3floyds ish. Most of it is available in flight size which is nice, pricing is good on the beers aside form the barrel aged and packaged stuff. Overall the trying to be evil, edgy, and mean for the sake of being so vibe of this place is too over the top for me to bother really.“

“Huge space that accommodates well for a drink on the patio, private event or just a quick drink. A little too dark inside but I did enjoy the graffiti style painting. Service was a bit slow and un attentive. Nice variety of a draft list from ipa, to stouts to sours. Samplers of 6 so you can get some really good variety. The stouts were the best thing on. Food looked ok, but didn’t try it. Weird local so I’d probably not come back but a private party here would be cool.“

“I have had pretty much every brew these guys have done and they have all been pretty exceptional. I gave this place a low rating on service and this is my reasoning. We went to enjoy some beer on a saturday and the carry out line operated from the bar and it took about 25 minutes before i had a sip to sample. The new location has only been open a few weeks now so I have understanding that kinks need to be worked out when occupying new spaces but why make a "dine in" customer wait behind the masses of people that come in to sample everything on tap and make a carry out decision? Now my one grievance has been aired I have lots of positive things to say about this place. Lets start with my favorite part of this brewery...besides the great drink...THE BOTTLE ART! I absolutely love their appreciation for the local artists that contribute to their always on point labels. I have had a suggestion since they opened but have never voiced it. Sell prints of their label art. I would hang all of them up in my bar and brew room. I would be willing to say that this brewery has produced THE BEST local craft brews in the NWI area and they will continue to give more established breweries a run for their money. I hope they keep up the great work but for the sake of a beer drinkers sanity direct the carry out masses to a separate bartender all together“

“Used to go to the Miller Street location but will probably come here more because its closer to Chicago. Space still needs to be worked on to bring it up to where it should be. Good draft list, prices. Food to come in the future.“

“Drove almost 3 hours this morning because they had BA Hunter on their website for carryout, but it wasn’t available when I got here. After mentioning it to the bartender, who didn’t acknowledge my comment about it, I spoke with a manager and she told me it was off the list and had been since last night. When I told her that wasn’t the case because I looked this morning and drove up specifically for it, she didn’t apologize. Rather, she gave me a disingenuous smile and said she’d "make a note of it." Exceptionally poor service. I’d say this place is a joke, but the joke was on me.“

“Great average sized bar in Hammond, Indiana. They have an amazing selection of alcohol and a decent selection of beers. Friendly bartenders and fast service. The best cheeseburger around (great food in general).“

“I drive here from South Chicago every 10 days or so, partly because it’s near the cheapest gas stations in Hammond, but also to pick up some craft beers and some cheap beers I haven’t seen in Chicago. They have only one aisle of expensive beer, but the selections changes egularly so it’s always worth checking in to see what’s new. Items they put on sale are a great buy. A good variety of Three Floyds is always in stock. A couple of the employees are very knowledgeable about craft beers and are eager to make suggestions and to help you load your findings in your car. Other customers have told me they also come here to buy Three Floyds without the long wait at the FFF brewpub. The only downside is the occasional shady character lwith a long story lurking in the parking lot.“
