“After a nice ride through what is known as the ’Pays des Collines’ the brewery peeked out of the surrounding hills. A newly revamped pub style restaurant adjacent to the brewery was reopened in early 2012. The old section still exits but this part was added to the old building. The atmosphere was quaint with few customers, bar area is spacious, clean and modern with a nice patio and beautiful landscape (if the weather cooperates). All the beers are available plus extras from br des Geants that recently bought Ellezelloise. Bottles and draft available. Food menu is well presented with a few dishes using the beer, but also using local produces. I ate the pâté with Quintinne ambree. Prices for the food are ok although I found their own beer to be on the high side. Service was great, had lunch with the brewers and with Martin the cook who showed me around the brewery. Definitely a nice spot to visit with some trails around that are excellent for hiking through a beautiful scenery. No complains about my numerous visits. Great staff and brewers, all their beers available, perfect setting with a lot of history to discover.“

“Nice pub near a town with a witch fixation. Excellent beers from the brewery plus the ’not as good as it was’ sister brewery Geants. Interesting outside toilet ( smelly African style long drop).“

“It was a couple of years ago that I took a train from Delft to Ellezelles to visit La Brasserie Ellezelloise. Things I loved about it: it was a farm house in the middle of beautiful farm country, and running the small counter in the brewery was the wife and daughter of the brewmaster, a true family operation. The beers are great! What I didn’t like: The brewmaster/owner had no interest in talking to an engligh speaking foreigner, and was boardering on rude when I tried to ask him a question. So I drank a few beers alone and hitch hiked back to the train station. Could’ve been an amazing trip if the owners were more receptive to people interested in their brewery.“

“Bit of a weird visit here. The place is basically set up like a brewpub with the brewery at the bottom. Wort aroma galore. Lots of witch paraphernalia. Service was a bit unusual - I think a bit could be attributed to language issues but definitely not all. Just bottled beers from Ellezelloise and Geants. The courtyard would probably be quite nice when the weather’s good. Worth it for a fresh Saison 2000 I guess.“

“We landed here because the Ellezelloise tasting room up the hill was closed. We found a decent list of 50 beers... Not many surprises, but thankfully they had a few from Ellezelloise. So we got to have our little tasting anyway, and in a real local pub at that. Nice, open atmosphere here, but definitely an older crowd (most appeared to be 60+). Very friendly folks. The real seniors were playing poker for money in the back. That’s a big room that could be used for large tour groups or the like. There’s a terrace outside, weather permitting. No food.“

“Real farmhouse brewery in the middle nowhere. Was quiet when we visited, but looks like it could get a crowd in busier times. R\eally enjoyed the beers though.“

“Great place - in the sticks. Has a beautiful patio which looks as in summertime it is a great place to sit and drink some of their beers. The brewery is in the old farmhouse with has a medium sized kind of smelly bar room. It took forever until someone came - disappeared after serving one beer and never came back - quite funny though! Nice feeling place - they had most of their beers bottled to taste. We bought a case of Hercule Stout which was quite expensive as the deposit is due to the special case and bottles quite high. (24 bottles a case around 30 EUR - Deposit 20 EUR - OUCHHHHH!).“
