“Visited on 23/08/2017 : had a tour and tasting of the 4 base beers. Price for tour and tasting is not expensive. They give tours in dutch, even sometimes some words are difficult to find. Nice explanation about the history of the brewery (starting outside), nice to see the installation on wood. The tasting room itself is realy marvelous. some old equipment and other stuff to make it cosy. Really nice to sit there, service is very friendly. Selection is their base beers (regular and bio) and the forrestine collection. Fine enough for me. Short explanation on the beers each time it is served. Big plus you don't have to taste a whole or even half a bottle. It's split in about 3 or 4. Therefore the price for the tasting is also very reasonable. All the beers can be taken home too. Cheese or some sausage can be served too.“

“Enorm gezellig, je voelt je precies in een oude kelder, enorm rustig en de bieren zijn er geweldig. Wij komen er graag“

“Visited on several occasions. Nestled by the Meuse river and not far from Dinant. Older style brewery with a unique (possibly last in Belgium) wood heated system. Inside is rustic and remind of an old mill. Bar section with a few tables, tours are available with sample glass after, or you can just stop and have a beer. Many bikers stop there and enjoy the scenic routes in the area. A great stop, nice to chat with the brewer when he is there, quiet surroundings during the off-season with people who love what they do. Although the beer selection is limited to the few beers they have, it’s still the best spot to drink it straight from the source. Selection is great, all the Caracole products available, sadly many of their smaller contract brews are not there. A little out of the way, worth the stop if you are in the region, and best to check opening hours. They have beers to go and glassware. Service is friendly, and during the high season students will usually work there.“
