90 /100 6302 OLD LAGRANGE ROAD.STREET went here during their Oktoberfest weekend. place was packed and had overflow parking in the back field. was kind of overwhelming at first as far as to what to do. Nooks and crannies everywhere. Mead garden up front. tap room indoors. food here and there. there was a craft fair. live music. steins for sale and and glass boots. Probably not a typical night.
the takeaway is the open outdoor area. lots of seating in what appears to be old greenhouses with no glass. My favorite part was seeing the vine cover the tops of the skeleton roof.
a lot to take in.
again this was probably not a typical day but awesome selection of beer, mead, and to some extent slushies, bourbon, and cider.
has a kitchen onsite.
exceeded my expectation. awesome job all around on a fun night. very well organized.
hoping they do this again next year and if so I will definitely go! |
80 /100 6300 OLD LAGRANGE RD Nice rural location. Large beer garden. Good selection of their beers and several guest taps. A bit out of the way but a nice location to relax and have a pint or two. |
