“Nice old fashioned, low ceilinged tavern in a nice location by the heritage area around the harbour. Does an annual outdoor bar (bar out) during the incredibly busy boat festival. More of an atmospheric place than a beer location.“

“If you are looking for some cask ale in Portsoy this is the best bet. Although the Shore Inn has changed hands many times in the past it remains a reliable pub. It is located in the old harbour area and has a nice traditional vibe to it. On my last visit they had 2 cask ales on offer from Windswept brewery, both in good condition. This is of course in addition to standard keg offerings from Tennents, McEwans and the like. Didn’t peer into the fridge, so perhaps they had a few bottles also. Whisky selection looked solid as you might expect in this part of the world. Friendly and attentive service on our visit. Worth stopping past if you are in town and have a thirst.“
