Antico (Restaurant)

“Both a cafe-bar and restaurant, if you’re not local to the area whatever your reason to come in here it is probably going to be for the fine view out of the rear window. It has one of the best inside views of Forth Rail Bridge in Scotland and faces it as the perfect angle. To facilitate the view they’ve also installed floor to ceiling windows so you don’t even have to be by the rear wall to enjoy the scenery or watch the trains chug across the fabulous red painted cantilever structure. If you’re not here for the food then there’s no shortage of drinking options either with 14 ale and lager taps that include a decent Belhaven range.“

“A beautfil old pub in the shadow of the Forth Rail Bridge. The food is a good solid standard, probably better than average. There’s decent ambience though since the site of this pub means that there will always be a long queue of people wanting to dine there, I feel the service possibly feels it doesn’t have to try as hard as other places. They have 3 cask ales as well as the usual mono beers on tap. The fridge selection is a little better than average. I feel the fact that this is owned by a big chain has taken something away from the potential of this pub.“
