“Cool looking place ... was in Nearby Kennebunkport for a short trip and this was my #1 must stop. Lots on tap, lots of on-premise bottles and cans and bottles to go. Food truck for snacks. And huge bonus for me as I was traveling with Dogs, they are Dog friendly! My only negative is I did not have anyone else to drink with or I'd try lots of their bottles!“

“About 25 minutes south of Portland, this was an interesting spot. Located in the basement / cellar of a law firm / house, this is a fun place to hang out. Darkly lit inside, with all sorts of games, there is also an outside area with a tent cover. Tons of beers on tap - around 20 when we visted. Flights of 4 available or single 4 oz pours for $2-3. I loved their ambition with the styles, but the execution just wasn't there - most beers were not dialed in properly and very chaotic. Let's hope they figure out their brewing. It's a fun stop though and I'd recommend it for that.“

“Nice location at the end of a restored mill, outside tables overlook the river. I sta at the outside bar, there's one inside as well, and the rest are restaurant tables. Service was a bit lax, and they were just moderately busy. I ordered a flight and it came with all eight beers on tap, holy cow. None were very interesting. The foo was tasty, and the food specials rotate. Worth a stop for a meal and the view“

“The staff at Great North in Manchester recommended this place and I'm glad I took their advice. It's the basement of a large house with a law firm on the ground floor and the lawyer himself living on the top floor. I hope he specializes in drunk driving cases. The taproom has lots of nooks and crannies, two shuffleboard games and furniture made out of barrels. Oh, and 19 beers on tap. Very creative variety, and bottles and cans to go but they no longer serve growlers. The larger production brewery was installed nine months ago just up the road, but they still brew at this location too. Stellar staff. Flights of four - I did two. Great place, worth travling out of your way to visit.“

“In here in June 2106. Had tried a few of their beers at some different festivals. Interesting space to approach, big house where the brewery is in the basement round back. 8 of their own beers on tap when I came, plus a cool set of four homebrew things brewed there (so legit rates) as a homebrewer gone pro sort of competition. Soft lighting, cool crowd, great bartender. Fun space with good beers at a great price. Worth a visit. “

“I just found my notes on this. From my time I spent living just north of Portland, my family and I would come down here every now and again. The ambiance was fairly decent as it was always clean and not too dark nor too light, just nice and settling if anything. I’ve never had bad service here. The food, well, in my opinion, I think I’ve had better food here than their beers (wink). Overall, not a bad place, if anything you’ll have to park in the parking garage behind the brewpub. I realize that their food was absolutely excellent and that their beers were mainly okay.“

“Nice brewpub in an old mill building just outside of the Downtown Saco area. Big wooden bar with brick walls around. The walls were decorated with classic beer signs and trays. You could get a good look at the brewing tanks. I only bought the seven sample paddle for $5.00 and did not try the food. The menu looks good though. I was surprised at how expensive the growlers were though. They quoted me a price of $36 for a 64 oz growler. So I stuck with the samplers.“

“During a recent trip to Portland Beer Week, I took the 20-minute Amtrak Downeastern to Saco, a former mill town west of the city that is currently undergoing a major revitalization of these mills, one of which is now the home of this excellent brewpub. Located on Factory Island, in the former York Mill No. 3 Building (1838), the Run Of The Mill is a 14 barrel brewpub that serves eight house beers, including one cask and a guest (Old Rasputin), in an intimate and convivial atmosphere with a homey brick-and-wood dining room and a separate Saloon; there is a long polished bar with a chalkboard draft list overhead. There is also an outdoor deck that overlooks the roaring Saco River and must be a great place to quaff craft brews in the warm weather. (Alas, I visited in November, when it was closed.) The beers I enjoyed really made this trip worthwhile: Alewife Ale, an English pale ale; Impact, which was a crisp dry-hopped IPA; For Richer or Porter, which was a … well, you know; and the Ex-Wife Extra Bitter Cask. The food menu with its’ array of hearty New England favorites did not disappoint. My chowder and fish-chips were well-cooked, delicious and filling. The server was efficient though seemingly indifferent; however, he still kept my glass filled so no points are lost. Don’t let the punny title fool you; this place is definitely not “run of the mill,” but an attractive, well managed venue that meets all the criteria of a Destination – at least when in Portland, Maine. Well, gotta catch the train back to Portland. “

“Établisement visité le lundi 26 août vers 11h00. Probablement le meilleur endroit dans la région de Old Orchard Beach pour trouver une bonne divisersité de bière. Malheureusement je crois qu’il esty impossible d’acheter des bouteilles de 12 oz à l’unité si elles sont dans un 6 pack. (223e rating d’établissement).“

“Visited here over Columbus Day weekend. A decent, but not huge selection of beer. Some unusual ones... 2011 DFH 120! Friendly enough. Easy access from S. Portland. I’ll definitely check back when I return to Portland.“

“Somewhat easy to find, not far off of Route 95. One of only two good beer stores in (southern) Maine. Has a larger selection of wine than beer. However, the beer that he does have is good beer. Foreign and domestic. Mostly in the coolers not much on shelf. Beer in the cooler, does have good descriptions and some ratebeer.com ratings on them, which is helpful. Owner stated he’s doing beer tasting starting this week. Don’t expect a huge selection, but still better than nearly any place around. Support him, so he stays around.“
