“I've been here a few times and it seems to get better each visit. Tons of beer (they claim 1,200 different brews) and it seems to me you can do a single of anything they have. Lots of local and regional brews with some of the better national brands, too. The growler station had some real nice options, too. service was right where I needed it. Plenty of staff who asked to help me if I needed it but I was just browsing so they left me alone. A really great bottle shop.“

“Craft beer store in a strip mall near a Trader Joes. People are raving about this place in the reviews, so I guess I should assume that the area sucks, because I was not super impressed. Bombers pressed into the top two shelves of a row of shelving units in the back. International selection behind you. 3/4 of the space is multi packs, although as noted in several reviews you can break packs and buy singles, which is pretty nice and apparently unusual here. They have a refrigerated section but don't use it wisely at all; mostly multipack macros. They have cases and cases of IPAs sitting on the floor at room temperature. Almost no IPA bottles and the few they have are on shelves at room temperature. Otherwise the selection is indeed good; lots of Wicked Weed which is interesting and likely has a lot to do with their recent purchase. No whales to be speared here. Prices seemed decent.“

“Great craftbeer store (liquor store actually with lots of great wine and liquor choices too) in Columbia just SW of Baltimore on the way to DC (not far off I95). Been visiting friends in Columbia for years and for some reason didn’t know this place was close by (it will be a regular stop now for sure). Not only does this place have a great craftbeer selection...but they seem to be popular enough to have a good turnover of their beers...which is great for a hop lover like me, Additionally they have a 12 tap growler filling station with some very nice choices...mostly locals and regionals with a couple of nationals. The staff is great and asks to help without being prompted. When I saw a bottle of Rogue Yellow Snow (a favorite of mine) that I know is released once/year around late November to early December...I asked one of the staff what the deal was...had Rouge changed the release schedule on this or was it an old hoppy style beer with all the hops gone? He offered to look up the purchase date and returned with the answer that it was indeed an old bottle from last year’s release. That was very valuable information to me...and saved me from a disappointing purchase. I now also have a new place to pickup all my favorite Union Craft beers when passing thru. Perfect Pour is a must stop destination for all craftbeer lovers in the area and driving the I95 corridor.“

“Visited on Sun Mar 13. What a great place. Huge selection. Singles, 6 packs, cases. Lots of rare and hard to find bottles. South of Baltimore on the way to Washington. If you are driving by you need to stop in.“

“Excellent, excellent place. Thanks Travlr for the recommendation! One of the best beer shops I have ever been to. It is a bit out of the way but they have lots and lots of beer, from all over the world, and it is very nicely laid out. Staff very friendly, efficient. Pricing seemed much better than what I pay closer to DC. And you can break 4/6 packs into singles. Which is wonderful, especially for this area.“

“Great store! Wish it was a little closer and more accessible to D.C. Stopped in here on my way back from Patuxent a while back. Great selection of Belgian and German stuff, with lots of other world beer. The U.S. stuff isn’t quite as well stocked, but still very good. Friendly staff. Spent a long time in here looking stuff up. You can buy singles of almost everything.“

“Had been doing a lot of my beer buying here until recently. It is convenient and the prices, including the growler station, are among the best in the area. Not a big place but they pack a lot in the space they have. Limited imports and new releases are an inconvenience but they are willing to order anything available. Service is professional although a little cold. You just need to be careful and check the freshness dates. Been stung a few times now when I was not paying attention.“

“Thank goodness this shop is 15 minutes from my house, any closer and I’d be broke and/or un a 12-step program. Joking aside, this is a great place; huge selection of craft beer from around the region, the country, and the world. They have lots of quality wine and whisky too. They have regular tasting and giveaways (on the weekends usually) and even the occasional live band playing. In the past year or two they added a large growler station and always have hard-to-find brews on tap. My only criticism would be that the mark-up on single bottles is higher than most retailers. In their defense, any six pack can be separated into a single bottle or mix six-pack, which most places in the area don’t allow. Just expect to pay ~$20 for your mix-six-pack. Long live The Perfect Pour.“

“Beer store located in a strip. Easy parking. Large selection, everything is available as singles with a slight markup. Small case discount. A growler station in the back which I did not take advantage of. Poor phone signal in the store, and no wifi. Overall, I’m very glad I stopped by. I ended up leaving with a case of new beers to try, many of which I’ve never seen anywhere else. Would stop by again if I’m ever in the area again.“

“Been here a few times before/after visiting a friend in the area. Great selection of beers, prices are about average to pricey. They do mixed six packs so you can pull a single out of whatever six pack for your custom pack. Club with discount on certain beers is available, may be worth it if you live nearby and/or frequent often. Worth checking out especially if you’re outside of the area for the MD exclusive beers.“

“The store is normal sized with very very narrow aisles. That’s a good thing because almost every bit of this store is stacked and filled with alcohol. Most of the prices are pretty fair. There are some bottles that are lower, some higher. There appeared to be a new growler addition, but I didn’t look at it close enough to rate it.“

“Beer/wine/liquor store set in the back of a shopping store. Basic layout with racks and coolers, but things were well organized and easy to find. Staff was good and eager to help you find things and did a great job packing up my large order. Pretty good selection with the ability to buy singles if you’re just looking to try some different things. Prices seemed on par with other stores in the area. Good place that’s worth checking out.“

“In a strip mall with plenty of parking out front. Medium quantity of beer and high quality of beer. I found just under a dozen beers I have been looking for. Good selection of Mikkeller and other harder to get European beers and pretty selection of american beer. Some beer are in line with other bottle shops, but the better ones have quite a mark up. You can get singles of everything in the store, a big plus. They helped find a couple gems I overlooked, so the service was good in a way. However they also said that New Belgium has produced only one kriek (wrong).“

“Selection is amazing. Best I’ve seen in the state, that being said they’ll gouge the piss out of you, if it’s .rar forget about being it here for a reasonable price. I’ve seen several $40 bottles that are low-count shelf beers. Fuck this type of customer gouging. My business goes elsewhere unless I’m looking for something very niche.“

“Tons of different beers in stock with a nice rotation of seasonals. You can also pull singles from six packs to make your own which is not that common but which is VERY nice. A high premium is charged per bottle when you do this though, so beware. This is a re-rate. I fell in love with this place when it first opened a few years ago, but as more and more bottle shops of comparable size and selection have opened up I’ve become increasingly disenchanted with the Pour. The problem is the pricing. I found a bottle of The Bruery Sour in the Rye at a bottle shop about 10 minutes away for$10.99 and the Perfect Pour was charging almost $30. As distribution gets better for more of the smaller breweries, the Pour is losing some of its edge for harder to find beers. There are still some one-off gems that you can only find here, but for more common stuff, you’ll save a boatload of money shopping just about anywhere else.“

“Located in a strip mall. Looks small from the outside, but has massive amounts of beer, liquor, and wine. They had free samples and the person offering them was very knowledgable about the ingredients. Everyone was friendly and asked if I needed any help. The beer selection was gigantic with beers from all over the world. The US beers were mostly from Maryland, Maine, Delaware, Pennsylvania Vermont, California, and Colorado. The only downfall were their prices. Some beers were just waaayyy over priced, not to mention when u buy singles, they charge extra for each bottle. I got 10 beers (only 1 was a bomber) and paid $60“

“It’s in a strip mall and packed to the gills with alcoholic beverages, so who cares about ambiance? The large beer selection and the availability of everything in singles is what makes this place definitely worth a detour if you are in the area. Service was good, with a guy asking if he could help me and then going away when I said "no thanks". Pricing seemed like it might be a bit high; not sure though because I didn’t shop anywhere else in town.“

“2012.01.05 - My first visit. Plenty of parking. Store is a little tight, but the tradeoff for that is a large selection. I would say this shop dedicated more space (or larger percentage) to craft beer than the typical wine/ beer shop. Selection was very good. The two things that struck me were they had WAY more Mikkeller than I have seen in one place before, and they had 11.2 or 12oz bottles 4/6 packs of a lotion things I often only see 750ml bottles. Good selection if De Molen, quite a few Belgians I had not seen elsewhere. First place I saw Old Rasputin barrel aged XIV. Decent selection of mead. I've read they are super high on prices but I did not notice. My order was about $175. When I got home I compared a few things on the receipt to prices I paid elsewhere and they were in line. Not saying nothing is overpriced but I paid $10 for a bottle of something elsewhere and it was $9.99 at PP. Definitely worth a repeat visit.“

“The place is a bit crowded, but seeing as the shelves are teeming with beer and wine, I guess I can’t complain. The Perfect pour carries a variety of American craft brews, including some nice limited releases, like Brooklyn Black Ops and Goose Island Bourbon County Rare Stout. I’ll refer back to this later. I was asked several times by a few different employees if I needed any help. I appreciate the willingness to offer assistance. That being said, I overheard an employee giving a customer false information about beers and breweries on two occasions during my brief visit. I know you’re trying to help, but check yo self before you wreck yo self. $40 Black Ops (used to be $50, maybe they felt awkward after all the negative press) and Bourbon County Rare for nearly $100. I believe Fou’ Foune was $65. Life and Limb was $30. How ’bout no. I don’t think so. Homey don’t play dat. This falls into the customer service category, in my opinion. That is NOT beer advocacy, NOT cool. Worth a stop if you’re in the area, though State Line Liquors is a much better choice.“

“This is like the Disney World of liquor stores, at least in terms of the Baltimore area. Every bit of space is used to house the best beer selection locally, all grouped nicely by region. Around every corner is a helpful, friendly, and smiling staff person looking to help you find more for your cart or grab a ladder for that bottle perched atop the taller shelves. This is a once a week stop for me (as long as the budget allows), and the addition of a new 12-tap growler station has made this harder to resist. The taps change often and are always fresh. You will be surprised at some of the tap beers available (check their Facebook page for the latest list).“

“A fantastic find located just a couple minutes off 95, about 10 miles south of Baltimore. Nestled in a shopping center with some big box stores, this is a cramped and cozy space that seems to have a slightly larger percentage of wine than beer - BUT, it’s a large well-stuffed store so there is a massive amount of excellent beer to had, so much so that it’s not far behind State Line. Tons of Belgians and Scandinavians (a vast selection of Mikkeler, for example). Especially noteworthy were the Cantillons. In terms of US craft, there’s a fuckton of Stillwater, Duclaw, Brewer’s Art, Southmapton, Sixpoint, and on and on and on. Fantastic service too. Looking forward to the next visit.“

Ambiance: Well-lit, extremely organized (almost obsessively), lousy muzak. Service: Outstanding. Staff was friendly and clearly knowledgeable about beer. Seemed to have some wine experts too. Even the cashiers were nice. Selection: Probably second only to State Line Liquors in Maryland. Saw a ton of stuff here I’d never seen anywhere else, and quite a bit of the stuff I’ve gotten from the Rare Beer Club over the years as well. All countries and states seem to be represented. Food: NA. Value: Pretty darn good, especially when you compare it to some of the bottle shops in and around DC. Overall: Clearly the best bottle shop in Maryland. Yeah, State Line might have a little larger selection, but this place is cleaner, better organized, more centrally-located, and there wasn’t a mullet to be seen. Worth a trip. Pair it with the nearby Kloby’s Smokehouse for some post-shopping barbecue (and they have 20 rotating taps, too).“

“Good selection here and helpful staff. Organization is a bit confusing - they separate 12 and 22/750s so a single brewery’s products are in multiple locations. Thats a minor quibble though. There was a ton of great stuff on the shelves and the staff repeatedly asked if I needed help with anything while I was browsing. I’ll certainly stop here next time I’m driving through.“

“Good selection of what you can get in MD. They seem to be very busy. The prices are high for most things, but they do have many beers that are difficult to find regularly. “Actually difficult to get into on a busy Saturday afternoon... next to a Costco and Trader Joe’s. However, once we made it in there we were greeted by a polite staff and witnessed the looming rows of beer toward the back. Upon further examination, the meticulous wood fixturing housed areas broken down into Belgian, import, micro with subsections for cases, 6-packs, and seasonals. Seemed approx. 750 different selections! Picked up the last bottle of La Trappe Quadruppel Oak Age in addition to Thirsty Dog’s Siberian Night 4-pk and Weyerbacher’s Tiny 750 mL. The facility seemed to be 60% beer/ 40% wine & liquor. The prices charged were clearly a premium, but where else can you purchase a 6 Litre bottle of St. Bernardus Abt 12 with requisite wooden case ($200)??? An Incredible Establishment-“
