“Nice place in a very small town at the river Dokkumer Ee. The brewery itself, plus brewshop and taproom is combined indoors; outdoors is a generous terrace at the river. Everything in a bit industrial atmosphere. Indoors also lots of barrels with beer aging in them; outdoors a lot of old used barrels. They only serve and sell their own beers, and no food. But that is not a problem, as they have a big choice, through 3 different lines of brews: regular ones (nowadays brewed at Lindeboom), a whole range of experimental brett beers (a specialist hobby of the brewer) and lots of barrel aged beers. The volunteer working there is an enthusiastic and well-informed guy. Interesting place to be, to see and to taste.“
