“Recently started (little over a year old I believe) this is a brewery/taproom/restaurant in Groenlo located in the house of the former Grolsch owner, Mr. Groen. The location, service, ambiance are all perfect; the beers so-so. We tried two flights of 4 beers (at 9,50 euro including small snack plate) and basically tasted all their beers currently available (they had two guest taps with Jopen and Stanislaus bokbeers as well). The beers range from bad (session amber) to decent (double) to good (quad), but most are below par. We couldn't taste the food as they were booked to the max, but the snacks were fine. I wouldn't go back unless they really expand into more experimental territory or boost up their core line.“

“Place were the first Grolsch brewery used to be. Now all that is left is a cafe and an old waterplace. Did the tour here, which is absolutely a waste of money: 6,50 for somebody who reads the wikipedia page and a showing of two short video's. You get to try a specially brewed Oerbier, but I very much doubt this is truly a specially brewed beer, as not much people will get this tour and the 'fresh oerbier' will not be very fresh. Bar was ok, service was funny and friendly, fingerfood was good. They had a Grolsch special on tap (made in the Grolsch test kit), which is a range made in 2017-2018, and we were lucky that one ran out, so we could try another. Just visit for the bar, but leave the tour for what it is.“

“Large restaurant in the centre of Groenlo, which is one of the few places they serve Erve Kots beers. Basicly, its a high end version of an all you can eat restaurant. I had a good time though. Three Erve Kots beer on tap. Friendly and fast service. Good food. Recommended if you are looking for a place with good food in the area and want to tick a beer or three.“
