“Willing to admit, I came here for a bachelor party because the dude that was getting married only wanted to watch his Bruins that day. I didn’t realize for a sports bar with a tap line with more BMC stuff still was very clean, had great service and really good food. I just stuck with a Smuttynose IPA and made sure my friend got back to his house that night. Haha, good times. Would go back if I lived closer.“

“Pretty good store with fairly quick service (though I’m not always looking for the best chat with the workers, well, maybe after I warm up to them). For a store that labels itself as an all encompassing "liquor" store, this is a pretty good place to check out if you’re in the area. I’d go back if I lived closer.“

“Nice looking spot right in downtown Quincy. Clean looking brick and wood bar. Plenty of booths available. There’s sports memorabilia and TV’s everywhere. Beer selection is decent in size, but the quality isn’t anything to brag about. Pretty much all the mass produced big boys with about 5 craft selections. Food was really good. Service was a little slow and inattentive at times. All in all I bet this is a fun little spot to catch a Sox game with the friends.“

“Small package store outside of Boston proper. Small combo grocery and beer store. It has all of the requisite macros with offerings from Stone, Harpoon, Sierra Nevada, Allagash, Mayflower, and Uinta. Bunch of local and national bottles along with Uinta (?). Not a destination, but a decent stop for a tasty local bottle.“

“one of the best sports bars/ restaurants in quincy, so much fun, tv’s everywhere and boston sports memorabilia everywhere. waitstaff are brilliant and very nice. food is fantastic, great pub grub. the only thing bringing the rating down is the selection of beers, mostly macro, some local micros, ie harpoon, sam adams, etc.“

“I moved to Quincy, Ma a few months ago and was happy to find a store close by that had some decent beers. I find myself going to Atlas often for craft beers in the area. The selection of craft beer is a good size but still medium for my liking. They still have a couple of Stone’s main brew, most Sam Adams beers, and a slew of local beers such as Smuttynose, Prettythings, Frosty Knuckle, and others. The service is friendly but not very knowledgeable in craft beer. The person I spoke to was able to tell me where the Sierra Nevada was but have never heard of Life and Limb. (I guess you may not unless you’re a beer geek.) The prices were pretty good for the area and is the main reason i come back. For what you can find you will get a good value.“

“Lets face it, we’re reviewing places for their beer selection not their wine selection. For the size of this store there is not a large ammout of craft beer sold here. If you are looking for some good Stone brews like Stone IPA, Stone Smoked Porter, you’ll find it here. There are also a good variety of Sam Adams, Harpoon, and a few other craft breweries. The problem I have is that there is for the most part, macro beers here. Then a large ammount of wine. If wine is your thing. The prices were pretty good though for what good beers they had and the service was pretty friendly. I didn’t try to really test their beer knowledge at all but it was fine for what I needed for the night. Good beer and a good price. “

“Excellent selection of both imported beers and american craft beer. I am surpised that no one has rated this yet on ratebeer.com given that this is a very highly rated destination on beeradvocate.com. You name the beer that is available in the region, and they might have it. Found a bottle of Sam Adams Triple Bock here along with a host of other excellent beers. No Lost Abbey, Stone, or Trappist Rochefort offerings (like Charles Street) but this store is worthy of a trip.“
