“Was fairly impressed with this clean little grocery store with a decent sized liquor department. Clean little family market. Easy to take kids in.“

“I see people singing the praises of Scott, but I remember Greg and he was a good dude who did also did a great job of assisting me and other customers from what I remember. Was in here twice and remember it being very clean. If I lived closer, I’d visit more.“

“Wow, what a nice place. Totally giving it the top score on ambiance. Located on a farm, it’s a small tasting room inside the brewing facility. Very peaceful vibe. I’d knock it down a point for the treacherous driveway (GO SLOWLY!), but I’m knocking it back up again for Emma, the awesome brewery dog. All breweries should have a resident dog. Four beers were on tap and all were good. Growler fills and bottles are available for dirt cheap prices. I got a 750mL sour ale and a bomber of IPA for less than 8 bucks. The two people working were exceptionally friendly. I very much enjoyed visiting these guys.“

“Brewery is located in an old barn surrounded by farms, just a short drive from Horseneck Beach. Inside you’ll find very good craft beer at unbelievable prices. Staff is helpful and proud of their product. Worth the trip.“

“This is a grocery store with a liquor section attached to it. Their selection is really impressive. Plenty of the more top of the line craft styles along with the normal selection. Prices aren’t too bad, about average. Staff isn’t all that knowledgable, but they will try to get an answer for you. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.“

“Stopped in here on the way home from a visit to Cape Cod. The retail space seemed like it was in a bit of a transition phase, but they still had a tasting room set up and bottles and swag available for sale. Only a couple of their beers available for sampling, but that’s ok. Number one reason to stop here however turned out to be the $20 cases of bombers (if you go back around to the warehouse/brewery and pick them up yourself, $25 if you don’t). And the beer is pretty solid as well, so we ended up with plenty of stuff for the summer. Worth a stop if you’re passing through.“

“A quaint little farm/barn in Westport MA that you may accidentally pass by and not even know there’s a brewery there. They usually have 1-2 people working the small counter in the shop housed in an old barn. The store has 22oz. bottles and empty growlers you can fill for $13. When you want to re-fill the growler it is only $8-9 so not a bad deal all in all. Hours are usually Thurs.-Sat. from 11-6 with tours at 2 on Saturday.“

“Visited the brewery in early June and was blown away by the fact that one can buy, with cash, an entire case of their beers in bombers for $15. That’s a ridiculous price for craft beer. Goes to show what happens when you self-distribute and don’t put up with any of the middle-man, three-tier distribution crap. The brewery is out in the middle of the field and is a fun adventure in a beautiful countryside. The staff were really fun and super-helpful, offering free tastes. Lots of bombers and growlers available. Worth a stop if you’re in the neck of the woods.“

“Too bad this place doesn’t make their own brews anymore but they still brew and that’s all that matters. People are great and the beers are top notch. During the summer they have cookouts on the farm and it’s a great time. If you’re in the area, this is a nice place to visit.“

“Driving to this place is awesome. Farm country, beautiful landscapes, old farmhouses, tractors. Pulling up the drive way you see a large old barn weathered with beautiful inclined hill and nature surrounding. Upon arrival I was greeted by many people who very friendly and willing to offer any samples from their four taps. Really great experience. $6 dollar growler refills. 6 pack and 24 Packs available fresh. Glasware, t-shirts, and other novelty items available. Talked with the brewers offering me great information about their batches.“

“Scott, is definitely the man. A little hidden gem. Great selection not typically found in that area. Ipswich, newport storm, great divide, berkshire, stone, wachusett, many polish beers, middle ages, buzzards bay, chimay, ommegang and many many more. Unbelievable service. His wife which works during the day shifts is very accomidating and makes you feel comfortable, like you are a local. Im glad I found this place, and it will always be on my map of destinations. A little lengthy from bristol ri but worth the trip anytime. Cheers to a great store.“

“UPDATE - The brewery has been hosting Lager Nights on Thursdays all summer long. Starts at 5 and runs until....the staff kicks your butt out. $5 gets you 2 pints of whatever is on tap (with a glass to take home). Additional pints are $3. BYOGrillables - use 2 hot grills, compliments of the brewery. Beer, friends, games, farm setting = great time. Should continue through Labor Day. Also, growler prices have risen - $12 new, $8 refills. Can’t beat the location. Set in beautiful farmland in rural Westport, MA, just down the road from their sister winery & vineyard, Westport Rivers. Long clamshell driveway leads to the weathered, shingled building that houses the brewery, warehouse, offices and tasting room/gift shop. Service is always pleasant. Not always staffed by beer knowlegable folks, but nice, quick, efficient service for growler fills and BuzzBay beer schwag sales at fair prices - cheap even. $6 growler refills - any clean one will do. $3 glasses. $10 tshirts. etc.... Selection isn’t wide, as BuzzBay only has a handful or more of beers in their lineup. Yet, this summer they had some experimental beers on tap and always seem to have their seasonal lagers on draft and in 12pks to go. Definitely worth the drive for a tour, some good, fresh, cheap beer and the scenery. Be sure to hit up nearby Horseneck Beach or The Back Eddy, a local restaurant with good food and BuzzBay beer. “
