Chouffe, Grimbergen, Duvel, Destraperlo, 15&30... |
64 /100 Cerveceria La Maceta (Bar) LANCERIA 27 Visited March 2015. Came to Jerez for the flamenco festival and stumbled upon a small craft beer festival celebrated at Gorila and La Maceta, that shared menus and commercial material. Other than the 2-3 mundane Cruzacampo [sic?] taps, several bottles of local craft beer were offered. Centrally located with outside tables, it’s a nice stop for an afternoon drink. Nothing too exciting, but it’s Jerez, not much of a beer town, and beggars can’t be choosers. |
66 /100 Cervecería Gorila (Bar) PLAZA PLATEROS 5 Lugar bacana.
54 /100 Cervecería Gorila (Bar) PLAZA PLATEROS 5 The only place I could find in Jerez with craft beer is this bar on the lively Plaza Plateros (silversmiths square) in central Jerez. There isn’t much for the dedicated beer scooper/tourist but, if you want something craft, then you can have bottled CCM here plus 50 or so other less interesting brews from bottle or tap. Compared against other beer bars elsewhere in Europe it’s a non-starter, but taken in context with southern Spain’s fledgeling craft beer scene it’s a shining beacon in the town. |
