76 /100 VIELLA Local con buena decoración y una buena terraza, disponen buena sidra y buena comida. |
78 /100 VIELLA Nice cidery where they serve good food (and of course, good cider). You can serve yourself the cider with automatic pourers. Worth a visit. They also have a big terrace. |
76 /100 POLÍGONO "PUENTE NORA", 11 A large and absurdly clean brewery in a huge warehouse like space. The bar is big, but they only have a couple of taps. The owner/brewer will be taking care of you and has enough english to teach you about his beers. Normally they host big events here so it is worth keeping in touch to see what is going on. |
70 /100 AVENIDA CONDE SANTA BARBARA, NO. 37 BAJO Popped by on my way to the airport. There is no way to check when they are open and they were closed when I arrived, but had a chat with the owner. A decent sized bar and small patio, this is very local and traditional. They don’t have set hours but are open weekends. |
78 /100 VIELLA A really pleasant and rustic place with classic local food. Service was really nice and gave us a tiny tour. Lots of seating, inside and out with good food. Great spot, but not a great if you want to take a tour or talk about the history ect. |
82 /100 POLÍGONO "PUENTE NORA", 11 Micro-Cerveceria |
78 /100 VIELLA Nice typical sidreria, in some little village only few minutes away from Oviedo. Inside the only large hall there are some big cider vats hanging in the walls. The outside terrace is really enjoyable when it is sunny (and when it is not).2 house ciders, Natural and D.O., that you can pour by yourself using some automatic pourers on the tables. Food is really nice, classic asturian kitchen. Always worthy. |
52 /100 AVENIDA CONDE SANTA BARBARA, NO. 37 BAJO Classic "Sidreria", with Fran and Ramos del Valle offered (Ramos del Valle was some cents more expensive than in other places. Weird, bearing in mind it is produced there...). No sign of the place, we had to follow a cider van that was heading for it.The place is a typical "chigre", messy, some dark, not so cozy. Cider has to be ordered at the bar. If you want food you can order in the outside terrace. A bit of a mess. We got one bottle charged twice in our bill. No credits cards taken, so we had to take the car and go to Lugones in the seek of a cash machine. I think there are some other bettter places out there. |
80 /100 POLÍGONO "PUENTE NORA", 11 Small micro-brewery, located in the heart of Asturias, in a beautiful valley surrounded by high mountains. Worth a visit for sure! Update January 2017: moved to new location: Lugones, outskirts of Oviedo. |
