“Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after a hot but satisfying 1.5 hour drive from Playa del Inglés. Lovely scenery inland, while the east and south (coastal areas) of this island are ugly as f... They only seem to have a covered patio that fits maybe 30 people. Staff was friendly but English was sometimes poor, bring your best Spanish. Asked for the beer on draft, got the answer “Cruzcampo”... So had to ask for the Texeda beers. Had the (poor) Trigo, we ordered 2 meals which looked very nice but tasted bland and were under seasoned. The second staff member was better equipped with English, it turned out they had a Special Edition beer on tap. Got it for free to try. Very friendly. Too bad the beer was infected, although it still tasted nice-ish. If you go here, go by car, Tejeda is not a place to stay for a long time. Views are nice though. Drove the other way back (GC120) which had spectacular views and nature.“

“Tejeda is a beautiful mountain village and Texeda is a very popular restaurant, famous for the food, not for their beers. Very crowded at lunch time when I visited. No table available at the patio in front by the main road but you can hang around by the bar near the kitchen. Only two beers available at my visit. One nasty, sour Amber Ale only on tap and "La de Almendra" in bottles and on tap. A Spanish draught macro beer seemed to be the popular one, at a brewpub.... Friendly service and staff spoke English well. I finished a small glass Amber Ale, purchased two bottles Almendra and left to explore the village on foot. Tried the bottle later at my hotel, It was actually a decent beer, better than I feared. (Visited July 9th 2019)“

“We came here on 17.2.2018. A fantastic 1.5 hours drive from the coast through the mountains of Gran Canaria. The village Tejeda, where this brewery is located, is worth the drive. Unfortunately this brewery is not ready to sell beers. Both of the available beers were sour and undrinkable. They brew in 2 ‘Braumeister’ vessels. I wish them a lot of improvements as this location deserves much better beer.“
