“In and around the small town of Valleseco there are several cideries. This town, about 1000 meters above sea level, is more or less the apple capital of Gran Canaria! The local market is easy to find in this small town. Both FRP (Niebla) and El Lagar de Valleseco are present with market stalls. Very friendly and informative service. There is also a small cafe where you can drink local cider. Most cideries around Valleseco has very limited production and not all ciders were still available in July. A good tip is to check out the nearby grocery store Spar. I found two bottles there. There is also a small museum adjacent where you can learn about local history and farming.
