“Nice, woodsy, "Up North" ambiance. I stopped in early on a Monday and there really wasn't anyone there, just some people buying Christmas gifts and getting growlers filled. I'll bet the patio is a nice place on a summer's evening, but this was late December. I had a really nice sour beer and a NE-style double IPA that was all right, but nothing too special. Looks like they have a pizza oven, some pretzels and peanuts, but no real food to speak of. Trivia night is advertised, a couple of TVs, switched to different channels. Glad to finally get there when they're actually open.“

Landmark Liquors (Beer Store)
913 MARKET STREET
“Above average liquor store for such a small town. I went in, looking for Disgruntled Brewing (a local brewery) beers and found 3 varieties in crowlers. Also found Surly Darkness 2018, which I couldn't find in the Twin Cities. They also had Founders CBS and a number of other sought-after beers. Besides a fairly well-stocked beer cooler, this was primarily a small-town liquor store, with plenty of wine offerings, as well as a variety of hard liquors.“

Brew Ales and Eats (Restaurant)

“Nice little restaurant/bar in Perham. They have rotating taps, with quite a few choices for such a small town. Food is good--sandwiches and burgers, largely. Prices not bad. Ambiance a bit crowded and loud at lunch time. Hopefully they can thrive and stay in business.“

“My second time stopping in, chill place. Dirt road and parking lot, as you do in the boonies. Beer was good to really good on my visits, their hoppy beers stand out. 1/2 pint pours and flights availabe.“

“Solid spot. 12 taps, flights of 6 for $12. Was really looking forward to going here, so detoured to Perham with the family while heading out on vacation. They wouldn’t let my 3 year old stay, due to a very lazy local law. So I returned later to try a few beers. Didn’t have really any of the stuff I was hoping to try, also disappointing, but what I tried was pretty good generally. Bought a glass - 9 fucking dollars for a tulip? Good place, but my hopes and overall expectations were not met. Not by a long shot.“

“Nice bar and restaurant. Lots of taps - about 26 - but somewhat diluted by a few crap beers. Still some good options, including a couple Fargo beers. Didn’t eat.“
