“The brewery is located in the back of the ST Louis Beer and Wine making store. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. There are 8 beers available on a rotating basis. Sample flights are available as well as growlers to go. Not your typical brewery but interesting all the same.“

“Steampunk is the licensed brewing operation of St. Louis Beer & Winemaking, a main local homebrew store. The brewing operation is in the back left corner, and the hallway between it and their back office/storage space is where the long, narrow bar rests. They did the best they could, given space limitations. There were 8 beers on tap when I visited, and they were decent. Mostly to style but nothing too exciting. The bartenders seem to either be regular employees or customers, so everyone knows a lot about beer here. The location isn't great for me, as I'm normally in the city when I visit, but it's worth a stop because there aren't many other breweries in west county.“

“Ok, not quite what was expected. Inside St Louis Beer and Wine making. Decent bar area, across from the brewing equipment. Eight beers on tap, all of theirs, interesting, nothing was bad. Place was crowded, had about 20 spots at the bar, a few high tops on the perimeter. Barmaid was knowledgeable and friendly, had good suggestions, even though I had a good idea of what I wanted. No food, not really a kid friendly place, but worth a stop if in the area.“

“I'm proud to be the first one to review this place. It's hard to classify. There is a homebrew shop in Town & Country called St. Louis Wine & Beermaking. Steampunk is a small bar with 8 or so taps inside that store. Their beer is very well made and the bartender will talk about beer the whole time you're there. I highly recommend this place.“

“Big box store, ok if that is what you want. Beer selection was decent. They push a lot of locals, not bad. The locals are not the current line-up, most are older, so check the dates. Glad they let you build most everything by singles. Not a bad selection, just not a local store, you can tell they are out of towners. Stop by if near by, otherwise there are better choices to visit.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday evening, not very crowded, as was stated a little hard to find, due to Clayton road access. All beer is refrigerated, except for a few Cellar items. Lot of local selections, decent choices. Nothing to hard to find, but a lot of good choices. Not worth going out of your way, but if in the area, there may be something worth stopping for.“

60 /100 1160 TOWN AND COUNTRY CROSSING DRIVE
“Stopped in here on a very rare trip out to West County. Access is not really fun, as we had to turn onto Clayton from 141 and then wait at a super long light to get into the massive shopping center, and WF is in the back. The store itself is big, bright, and roomy, like twice as big as the Brentwood store. There weren’t many employees around. The beer aisle is bigger than in Brentwood, but the quality isn’t any better and in fact seems to have a weaker selection. Good prices, and good emphasis on local and regional stuff. Tons of Boulevard. It’s a fairly typical, but newer and bigger, Whole Foods with a decent beer selection, but if you’re out in this neck of the woods, you’ll find tons more beer at Lukas Liquor.“
