“A nice little beer store in a resort town in NH. Pretty decent NH craft selection, as well as other regional beers. A small bar/tasting area also. The staff was very knowledgeable. Prices are good. As another said with some of the pricing in the other craft stores in town they could be higher priced, but arent.“

“There is a rustic wooden character about this place that I like. It is not something you can see from the road. You have to know where you are going in downtown Wolfeboro because the brewery and tasting room are behind a local restaurant and other niche shops. You have to park on the street. I loved the handmade wooden tables and the whole wooden floor character of the place. Four beers on tap. When I was there the choices were an IPA, WItbier, Dubbel, and Milk Stout. I did not get to try their popular Robust Porter but there is no need to fret. As I write this they are about to distribute bottles locally and the Robust Porter is among the flagship. beers. Wolfeboo was one of the USA’s first vacation communities right there on Lake WInnipesaukee. If you take a vacation there be sure to stop by Lone Wolfe.“

“I stopped in this quaint little store just to buy some Prodigal Effeinghammer Weisse. I was hoping for a few other selections from Prodigal but the Berliner was the only style in stock. I don’t fault the store, Prodigal is a small operation and I guess I will just have to stop back again another time. The owners were very friendly and eager to chat beer and tell me about all the new arrivals. The craft beer soap is an interesting original idea. (A friend bought me a bar). So I can’t wait to bathe my body with a soap made with Effinghamburgerbrau!! Now if I can just find a bottle for consumption. Anyhow, if you are in this area of the lake, this place maybe your only real option to buy real good craft beer.“

“Wolfeboro is American’s original resort town. They say so on all their signs! So opening a craft beer store in this town full of niche shops and tourist traffic seems like a no brainer to me. This one is located in the heart of the tourist trap zone next to a pub, gift shops, etc. The store specializes in soap products with a small craft beer section. Interestingly the homemade soaps they sell are made from brewery-acquired ingredients, particularly around New England. The place smells perfumy like soap and the craft beer section is not astounding but in a pinch...if you are cavorting in Wolfeboro, you will want to stop by. This is also one of the only places in New Hampshire where one can buy Prodigal Brewery beers. The Lone Wolf Brewery is a short walk around the corner from this store.“

“The owners are very knowledgeable about their product and the industry in general. They have one of the best selections I have found in rural NH. They focus on local/regional beers but have some great choices from "away", as well. NH distribution laws keep many of the best breweries out of the state. They also have price-points at or below the local grocery stores. This is VERY nice in a resort town where most merchants have a huge mark-up to gouge the tourists.“

“They usually have 3-4 drinkable beers out of a dozen on tap. Staff is sometimes knowledgeable. Food is OKish, mostly Sisco frozen stuff but expensive for what you get. Honestly, I don’t go there for food anymore. Just to see live music and have a few beers.“

“The Wolfeboro Inn is a traditional 19th Century structure, elegant and somewhat sprawling. Wolfe’s Tavern is just toward the front of the building from the main dining room. Food is excellent, though service can be very slow. Many available beers, ranging from the grossest macros to some fine crafts and imports. They are famous (or infamous) for their beer challenge, whereby you can eventually earn a personalized pewter mug if you get a beer card punched for having sampled every single one of their beers. (Read about this on their website.) “
