“Went during their Sunday brunch buffet event (which seems very popular) but ate of the lunch menu and had their bacon fusion burger which i enjoyed. Atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Seating was kinda bunched up and accustics were loud but it is a bar so what do u expect. Plenty of craft beer artwork and memorabilia used to decorate which makes total sense since this a craft beer hot spot. 23 taps open nice selection of import and domestic beers. Nice bittle selection as well. Value was average. Service was great. Prompt (considering how busy they were) and friendly. I will surely revisit them.“

“Finally got in here, had been meaning to for a while. Pretty impressive draft list for sure. Atmosphere is a bit too NJ bro, at least on our visit, but we were able to grab bar seats and keep to ourselves. Bartenders did a solid job. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Stopped in for Kane's tap takeover. Pretty chill place. Decent food and service. 24 craft beers on tap regularly, but 24 Kane beers today. Glad I came!“

“Great place...fun...friendly...nice people (owners and managers are great). The beer selection is very good...changes frequently...and they do beer nights with different breweries. The food is very good for an Irish themed bar...and excellent value too...especially when you use their "points card" (which also counts for liquor as well as food). Large place with outdoor seating in the summer.“

“Great place for a burger and a beer. Love the tap takeovers that they have with featured breweries especially when it is one of my favorites. Often have promotions with free glassware to take home. Also, do a lot of other events like Belgian beer and food pairing dinner. The staff seems very knowledgeable of the beer styles and the breweries they carry. Overall this is the best beer bar I’ve found in NJ in my area.“

“Maybe I was spoiled in WI with the beer selection, so other places don't compare well. But this place definitely has one of the better selections in the area. Wish they has more deals and specials, and a better selection of local brews.“

“I love the Cloverleaf Tavern. They have an awesome bar area, not to mention a bunch of other rooms to sit for a nice casual dinner. The beer selection is one of the best in the area, if not in all of northern NJ. So many good local brews on tap and a great lineup of bottled beers. They have a great beer program called the MBA and PhD programs not to mention special beer events that feature some pretty rare beers! Highly recommended!“

“Solid food, solid beer list that seems to be improving everytime I visit. I have been 4-5 times with Chalsk. I like the fact that they rotate stock frequently. Sometimes the waitstaff can be a little slow getting the drinks.“

“This place is getting better. It drives me nuts that they don’t have 90 minute in the cooler, just warm. One of the best DIPA’s out there, give it some respect. I live near the Totowa Depot so that is my spot. But this place is closer. Good for your go to craft and belgian brews. Not a place to geek out, but has a strong supply to get you by.“

“Really enjoyed this place - super crowded bar area, but a fun atmosphere, great beer selection, and the french onion soup was top notch. Had a really nice outside area, would surely head back there.“

“A number of drafts, rotating with the majority of them craft or almost international. Bottle selection is better than average. Atmosphere is nice, if the crowd isn’t beer geeks they at least enjoy good beer. Food is good. Service is real good, bartenders know the beer that they have available and about them.“

“This is one of the best, if not the best beer bar in New Jersey. They have a great selection of beers, offering flights, and a great selection of Belgiums. I love the place. Bourbon Burger and the crab dip are great compliments to the various beers. But food is not all world. You go here for the beer selection and some solid junk food. Over the past year or so they have killed off some of the BMC garbage and circulated some solid brews. They have had sixtels of KBS and CBS. Name another spot in Jersey with that kind of pull. UPDATED: 11/7/11. The Leaf has managed to beef up their craft brews on tap. Last month they had KBS on tap and today they had CBS on tap. They have also had 120 and some other rarities on tap. Being that only one sixtel of CBS showed up in NJ and it showed up at the Leaf, I would say the Leaf is thee beer bar of NJ. And it is in my backyard.“

“Relatively good compared towhats available in the area. Some nice beers (though the real nice ones run out fast). The beer club is kinda entry-level. Way better than an average bar but wont shake a stick at most nyc beer bars. Food is not bad. Prices are much better than nyc however. The scene is a tad jockish.“

“Went for lunch on a Saturday-the place was a bit quiet.I am sure it gets busier later.Real nice casual atmosphere,I sat at the bar, right in front of the taps. The lady bartender was nice and friendly,I ended up ordering a burger and a Delerium Tremens-both were real nice.I have to give the place a lot of credit-they have about 20 something beers on draft-mostly very good craft beers. Most definetly worth a stop if you are in the area!“
