“Visited June 2017 while in town for a conference. Restaurant vibe, but had lots of good beers on tap I hadn’t had (since I’m from out of town). I was happy ticking away on $3 pints for happy hour!“

Landmark Liquors (Beer Store)

“A small liquor store right next door to the bar (Landmark Americana), has improved from years ago but the selection of beer is relatively small. Has some of the good ol’ standards. Don’t have anything negative to say, just a very small local.“

“Is this all there is for Rowan students? I’m not sure. Anyway, huge ceiling and a classic, slightly greasy sports bar, lots of friendly down-home service, usually from college-age wait staff. I imagine it gets quite crowded in the evening. My wings were good, beer selection wasn’t great but there should be one or two here you can enjoy. My snifter of Monk from the Yunk was just right (but $6.50). Attached next door is a small liquor store, but Monster is just a five minute drive up Delsea and is the preferred choice for takeaway in this area.“

“One of my go to places, big store, large selction of overseas imports, Japan, Germany, some Islands! very well rounded out store, cooler room for chilled 30 packs, and cases, service is good, I really just deal with a crew chief and the owner, the cashiers are nice, prices are alittle higher than some“

“The store is a bit of a cozier warehouse style store with carpeted floors and a second floor, definitely nicer inside than Monster which is down the road. The service is hard to judge since it was a Monday night, but it was non-existent on my visit and the cashiers were simply waiting to go home, I can’t blame them really considering Monday nights are long and boring at liquor stores. Still there was absolutely no service this visit, I will revise if I visit again.

The selection was decent, typical New Jersey stuff you’ll find in most Jersey stores though some stuff was rather old. Overall it was laid out in one specific area and easy to find. The prices were in-line with other stores in the area as well.

I won’t be coming here again unless I’m in the area. Nothing stuck out to me.“

“Decent warehouse style store that is a bit unorganized. Most warehouse style stores feel at least a little "homey" or whatever, but this one feels exactly like a warehouse. The service was pretty non-existent, no one was around to help at all actually until I was leaving and one of the cashiers finally asked if I was looking for something. She was very nice and courteous though and it WAS a Monday night so I can’t really blame the lack of staff.

Selection was decent, they had nothing out of the ordinary, other than a bunch of Dogfish Head Pearl Jam beers on the shelf, which I thought odd considering it’s rare. Other than that nothing caught my eye. Prices seemed decent though, I didn’t notice any gouging (DFH Faithfull was $15).

Overall this is an okay place, but the selection is a bit scattered with beer being placed in a few places, though all near each other. I won’t go out of my way to go here again, but I’ll stop in if I’m in the area.“

“Decent sized wine/spirits/beer outlet .... had a long wall dedicated to bottles ... most of the bottles were from local and bigger microbreweries with seasonals and nothing too rare .... had a good showing of belgian brews some from smaller obscure brewers .... scored a couple decent bottles here, but nothing too crazy .... If your in the area this place definitely will have something micro wise for you to find in a pinch and the prices were average“

“Good place for a wide variety of micro brews. First place to find some of my hard to favorites. If this place had a Growler station they would be stiff competion for my favorite place Joe Canals in West Deptford, but they don’t they are second on my favs list for beer in South Jersey.“

“Don’t be fooled. These guys are price gougers. Go to Monster Beverage in Glassboro or Joe Canal’s in Mantua instead. Poor attitude by staff when called on it too.“

“This is a very loud sports bar in a college town. It is stocked with very nice servers and barmaids in the 20 or so age bracket. Very nice to look at although I am likely a grandfatherly figure to them. On my visit they had a good selection of seasonals, 6 Oktoberfests and a nice selection of locals like Dogfish Head and Flying Fish. My son and I each had burgers which were excellent. I’ve also had wings and my son has had some other dishes which all were very good. The prices are good and if you can stay awake, on Thursday nights they have a happy hour starting at nine where all drafts are $2.00. For this area, this is the best place to stop. Try Monster Beverage for take out.“

“For a liquor store being in a college town(Rowan) they have an immpressive selection of micros. They have everything from Stone to Chimay. Prices are very reasonable and many of the brews are kept cold. If your in the area stop in and check out what they have.“

“This is the best place in South Jersey for beer surpassing Monster Beverage just up the road. They have a large selection of refrigerated imports and domestics. They also have a refrigerated section for seasonals. They have a section for singles and you can make your own six pack. They have a food section with cheeses, baked goods, and deli meats that is excellent. A must stop when in the area.“

“This store not your typical warehouse store and its selection is huge. I was talking with one of the managers there and he said they were even expanding their craft and import section. Make your own six packs is here. Everyone was very helpful I, had 2 people ask if I needed help, and when I couldn’t find something they offered to bring it in for me“

“Call it on the border of Pitman / Glassboro. Quite a large selection of micros, local brews, imports & quality brews; especially so in South Jersey from what I’ve seen (relocated from North Jersey). Was recommended from area forum members & lived up to billing. Just picked up a few cases of fests & Marzen’s including Victory, some Weyerbacher & Ramstein.“

“This place is a relatively large and very unpretentous (read "warehouse chic") but a true gem in terms of selection. By far, the largest and most varied selection of domestic craft and imports in the area - including the large Canals outlets. Sensebly arranged by country for imports and by region (for the most part) for domestics. Good number of hard to find brews including Brooklyn Local 1, Coopers, Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti & Hercules. Impressive west coast presence (Stone, Lagunitas, Green Flash) and a healthy pacific northwest lineup with the largest selection of Rogues I’ve seen in one location. A bit out of the way but worth the trip. Prices quite reasonable thanks to the nearby college clientelle.“

“Surprisingly good for the area, on par with Canal’s, though the prices are a tad higher here on some of the singles. But they do have a ton of singles, mostly dumped. A bit like a rummage sale, have to sort through mixed piles and haphazard assortments to find some rare nuggets. All of the local stuff, even had seven or eight packs of Heavyweight left on the shelves (this around Jan 2007!). Had some FFF, and I was impressed to see some 3 Monts. Decent Belgians and above average British selection. Just a big warehouse, but can find some rares and unusuals. [2006: 64]

Updating over six years later: the store is much better organized, much brighter and cleaner, with a much larger selection of beer, a pretty huge step forward, and I can see myself returning semi-regularly. I can’t bring myself to raise the score, however, given a beer I found in their promoted mix-a-six area; there’s no better argument for mandating packaging dates on each and every bottle and can than finding a four year old Hefeweizen! Prices are still high, and good luck finding a single for under $2.“

“Very good for the area. They have SOME Three Floyds, which are hard to find around here. Also Jolly Pumpkin. The prices are warehouse cheap, and they have a singles section. Although the singles section was pretty small and no prices listed. It looked like a bottle dump when the workers found a sixer with one missing.“

“Good selection, not much in singles, but beers are warm which is good for long trips. Can find some rare beers here on occasion, decent amount of imports and domestic micro brews. Worth poping in if you are in the area. This is not a store, so the appearance isn;t anything great, but the beers are laid out pretty well.“

“This is a pretty good place for macros and imports. Saw a lot of rare regional beers, as well as some Europeans that I have never found before. Didn’t need assistance, so I can’t vouch to their service or knowledge. I would encourage any RB’er in south Jersey to give this place a visit though. It is a warehouse....so don’t expect anything pleasant or appealing.“

“I’m shocked this place wasn’t in RateBeer already. It definitely has more than the basics. Several of the Jersey/PA micros are present. Belgian Selection is fairly large. German/English is decent. Single 12 oz selection is a bit thin, but there are some to be had and plenty of sixers. This is the only place that I found in South Jersey that truly qualifies as a beer store so that is why I am suprised it wasn’t already listed.“
