“I was really exciting to visit this German-themed brewpub. We sat outside on a lovely summer day. Service was good even though the one server was really busy. Food was good. Ales were also pretty good. I was hugely disappointed by the 3 lagers I tried, however. They just did not seem to have the bottom fermentation working well. I really liked the place, so I hope they sort that out. Peach wheat and kolsch were commendable.“

“Service is very SLOW (15 minutes for a beer, 30 minutes for microwaved pretzels), at 5 PM on a Saturday afternoon. 4 bartenders, 2 servers, disorganized and haphazard. People who arrived after us were served before us, and people who arrived before us were served after us. Beer selection was OK, given it's a pandemic. Beer was OK, food looked like microwaved frozen food from a bag. Owner/Manager Matt W. told us they are understaffed and still trying to figure things out, but didn't offer to compensate us for the disaster of an experience. After we talked with Matt, server then tried to charge us for items we didn't get, stormed over to our table to tell us "I'm a great server, busting my ass" (she was chatting with a co-worker while our beers sat there), and "my manager doesn't f***ing care about your feedback, and we f***ing don't care what you say about us." Sounds like they still have a lot to figure out. Not worth a return trip.“

“We only saw the outside of this place, a parking lot. There were tables outside, and good service, and mixed styles of beer, including a few German's, supposedly the specialty. I only tried one, a bock, and it was quite excellent. As we say among my friends, "I'll be bock!"“

“No food, a real large selection of their own beer, covering the style gamut, though sours are kettle-soured, and minimal Belgians, other than the nauseating Wit style. Still the beer I had was good and others around me liked what they were drinking. Open sort of place, large bar, easy to get served, dogs and kids welcome, saw some interesting dog interactions. Will be back.“

“In the door in the early to mid afternoon on a Sunday in late April. The place itself is perhaps a bit tough to find if you’re going by GPS, as it might bring to the back of the building. But if you come around the side and go past the distillery, you’ll see it quick enough. Big open space.well lit with ambient light and a few overhead fixtures. open since September 2016, so still quite new, and only 6 beers on when I came in. Prices seem quite affordable at $10 for a sampler of all 6. Dog friendly space as well it seems. If you’re nearby it seems worth a stop, and certainly looks promising going forward.“

“It’s a nice place, for being located in a back alley off the main drag of Fairport. Very attentive staff poured us our flight of beers quickly and with a smile. The Patrons there were playing darts, Foosball, shuffleboard and giant Jenga. The free popcorn was good with coconut oil. We’ll be returning.“

“Nice rotating selection and a good vibe. Wish a place like this was closer to Greece. Nice craft beers. Decent enough food.“

“Took a tour of both facilities. Nice vibe, nice guys, mediocre beer. Very attentive, have about 6 taps, with mostly very similar samplings.“

“Nice little place on main street. Service was fast since only 9 people there on Father’s day. Half the seats taken up. 6 beers on tap. The flight of 6 was $11. The beer was thin. The trip is mostly to have a beer with family while waiting for a table down the street. Bartender did not recognize me from my pic in 585 magazine even though it’s on their website.“

“Old location the weekend before they are supposed to move to the new, larger location on main st. 2nd floor warehouse space. 6 taps, standing room only. No seats. Flights and growlers to go available. So much wrong with this place... Poor location, terrible beer. Bartender was quite knowledgeable, though. He was probably the highlight. Beer was like a first batch of an extract kit. Really awful beer. May visit the new location when they put some of their other beers on, just for the ticks. Cheap prices, though. $3.50 for a sampler of all 6 taps. The beer is bad and these amateurs should feel bad.“

“Nice cozy atmosphere. 22 tap lines, almost all craft beers. Daily specials, including $2 canned beers. Food is reasonably priced pub grub. This is the closest decent beer bar to my house. Lots of local stuff on tap, along with some occasional rarities. I like this place a lot.“
